  • Summary: it charges and you can speak and use speaker phone... the buttons are a little wobbely and sticky so it takes a few jabs of the side key to light up front screen or silence a call

Motorola Vu204 Cell Phone for Verizon

Vicki Jackman, Amazon
23 February 2013
  • Summary: The refurbished phone is fine. The battery life isn't very long and the charger doesn't work at all. I can use the charger I got with my other phone and I have two batteries, so one of them seems to be on the charger at all times. It's not terribly convenient, but I've been using it for a month now and will continue to until I decide to buy a new phone.

It's a cool phone with fun features but annoying at times.

  • Summary: I researched and researched this phone before I got it and saw that there were many good reviews on it. It is less expensive than the Droid with all of the same features. I got this phone around November and was delighted when I first received it It was a lot of cool features such as Twitter and Facebook updates and streaming videos from Youtube along with many applications to choose from. Now, I'm on my second phone. The buttons are small and can be annoying to press.

Everything I want and more but...

greenlithium, Ebay
16 December 2010
  • Summary: I love the physical appearance of the phone. I love the metal exterior and the keyboard. I love how I can keep up with facebook, twitter, multiple email accounts and more. I love how it retrieves contacts from facebook and email accounts. There are two things that prevent me from recommending this phone however, major things...every once and a while it will delete all your contacts. They return in about a day or so.

  • Excerpt: I've had this phone for two years and I'm sick of it, I'm looking for a new one. Heres my reveiw. Pros: -its REALLY tough (Ive dropped it off a roller coaster yesterday, and it still works the same as it did before!) -it looks professional -the keyboard is spaced out nicely -its easy to figure out -it didn't cost much -the camera is decent -not great, but not horrible.

Mediocre Phone

Sam D., Phone Arena
1 January 2010
  • Excerpt: The Motorola VU204 is just "ok". The battery life is great and the illuminated keyboard is really nice, unfortunately there are pretty much NO features. There is no music player which is a big disappointment. I really like the rubber they used on the back. It feels soft, yet solid. The keyboard feels really cheap and the screen on the inside should have been made bigger.
  • Pros: - Nice feel to it, - Battery life, - Speakerphone
  • Cons: - Features, - Camera

Too simplistic and wide design!

steve2, Phone Arena
25 February 2009
  • Excerpt: I had Krzr which I broke, so I got VU204. When I opened the box, I really liked the design and soft velvety feel of outcover. But, not to my liking,  the phone is lot wider than Krzr and the number keys buttons are from plastic and looks cheap. Inside there is nothing in it, no music player or external memory, which I knew when I bought it, but I kind of regret it now. Sound quality okay I guess.
  • Pros: Outcover is stylish., Dedicated headphone port., Smaller motorola charger (than one with Krzr)., Ok sound quality and reception.
  • Cons: Wider and thick., Number pads feels like cheap plastic., No external memory - no music unless you buy from verizon.
