It isn't a smart phone, but it is perfect for me, in more ways than one.

Summary: This is a back up for the one I carry now. For me, it's perfect but it may not be for everyone. It isn't a smart phone but it does exactly what I want, perfectly. It is heavy and large but that it OK, it is darn near bulletproof. I take it on bike rides, hiking, in the rain, wear it while working in the yard or wherever. Bottom line: I don't have to worry about breaking it. It is military grade.
Amazing phone! Excellent battery life! Great cell reception! Bomb proof!

Summary: First off, let me say this is the best cell phone I have ever had. I have one for my work phone and liked it so much, I purchased one for my personal phone. First, the battery life is amazing and will last approximately one week. Second, I live in an area with limited cell service and I get phone service where no one else does. Finally, the durability of this phone is amazing. I work as a wildland firefighter who is exposed to all of the elements.
Summary: The Motorola Barrage is a military-graded rough and ready phone. We use this phone due to it's push-to-talk ability, it's camera ready and it's dust and water resistant. In the orchards, this phone takes a beating and we haven't lost one yet due to water/mud/dirt damage. The only con is that the front screen is it's weakest point. We have had to replace 2 of them because the front screen shattered when dropped from up high or stepped on.
Summary: This replaces an older, broken phone (phone stopped charging because of a bad, non-replaceable charging port) of the same model. The older one had a camera which I never used, so this is a moot point. I rarely text and I don't need a QWERTY keyboard. This is my "Gibbs" phone (If you watch NCIS, you will understand.) I do a lot of outdoors activities and get caught in the rain, ride bikes on bumpy roads, drop my phone, etc. This is perfect for me, but not for everyone.
Summary: I've had this phone for almost 4 years and has really not given me any problems that were not my own doing. I had one episode of the phone repeatedly going dead on me after a few hours of use.... I found out that I NEED to turn it off once in awhile (never turned it off) to reboot the computer and update the software. After that I had no problems. Great durable phone!
Summary: clear sound and ease to use battery life is 6 hours during use and about 8 days in stand by mode.is a simple phone with many features. it is a well made phone. I wish it had an owners manual for all the features on this phone, you can down load manual from Motorola site it has over one hundred pages. I still prefer a owners manual because you need it to set up and learn all the features.
Summary: This model phone is the very best I've owned. After years of use that would have and did destroy others, this model kept on working even after falling onto the highway from a motorcycle and being totally emerged in salt water three times for more than two minutes and fresh, soapy water for nearly one. The phone finally lost its volume and could only be heard by speaker phone.
Summary: Knowing that I would not be using most of the features on a smart phone, I wanted to replace my old Motorola with a comparable model. Verizon didn't have one, but eBay did. It works fine and does all that I need it to do. Have had it a couple of months. If it lasts as long as my old one, I won't be phone shopping for years!
The barrage is one of the best phones i ever owned..Hella job Motorola!!!

Summary: Hella phone! Very durable and water resistant. A very loud speaker for the ptt feature..alot louder than the casio boulder i have. It is also is very clear. The keypad has a nice feel to it. I have big hands and i have no problems at all. No more pressing the wrong key. Music player works good with no problems. I wish i would have got this one before the casio boulder. I bought the barrage for a spare and ended up using it as my primary. Now the casio is my spare.
