Summary: Phone was supposed to be a Verison phone and was labeled as such, however when I tried to activate it for service I was told that it was not one of Verison's phones and could not be activated.
motorola adventure v750 Cell Phone is great but service stinks

Excerpt: We buy this phone and plan and couldn't get service where we live. It took an act of congress to get out of the contract without the penalty of early deactivation. Sprint had to actually come out here and prove to themselves that their sprint phones didn't work here either. They finally let us out of the contract. Summary: I just got my V750. Nice phone. One major problem. The USB drivers will not recognize the phone on either of my computers. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with tech support. They could not make it work either. Went to a VerizonWireless store. They gave me a new phone. That one does not work with the USB cable and drivers that I bought for $19.99 either. They refused to check it in the store. I had to go home and do it myself to find out it did not work.
Excerpt: I was looking at this phone and another and accidentally chose this one instead of another Motorola phone. I was coming from a Razr. This phone basically messes up everything the Razr does well. It is too thick to fit in your pocket. The battery life is terrible, even if you do not make any calls. I have left the phone for two days, made not a single call, and it was out of power already.
