The v50

noel007, Ciao
22 October 2003
  • Excerpt: The Motorola v50 is just about the most aesthetically pleasing phone on the market today. Slim and small, the v50 is a head turner, which still has features to rival the newer models. Although lacking camera facility and colour screen, the v50 has WAP capability and voice activated dialing.
  • Pros: Slim, small, light, aesthetically pleasing
  • Cons: Now outdated by colour screen models

Motorola V50

JustKat, Ciao
9 October 2002
  • Excerpt: In the past, I've always gone for the cheapest rather than most stylish phone. This time, however, I decided - what the Hell? I'll spoil myself. My Motorola was £149.99 from a Vodafone shop in my local shopping mall.
  • Pros: Small, so it fits in your pocket .  Flip - top, so there's no risk of dialing numbers without knowing .  Looks good .  WAP enabled .  Comes with detailed instructions .
  • Cons: Small selection of ringtones .  No text message reciept alert .  Not very customizable .  Quite confusing when it comes to working it .
