It's a great inexpensive phone that meets my needs.

Excerpt: I've had this phone for 10 months, and have had no problems at all. It is compact and easy to manage. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, so this meets my needs completely. The price is very affordable, and I am completely satisfied. I've had no dropped calls or transmission problems.
Excerpt: This little puppy was awesome, I can download mp3 ringtones, take pictures, send pictures, and Text.Huge step up from the Nokia I had, this little baby pumped, when my buddy bought one of the first Razr that came in even though it was impressive my little v220 went toe to toe with it, even the volume of the ringtones was slightly louder!very sturdy considering it was mostly plastic. This is one phone I can honestly say I really enjoyed!
Pros: Small and compact., it was Free!, loud volume
Summary: The phone works well. I bought it as a backup phone, should something happen to my Razr. Other than not being new and having somewhat of a muted color display, I'm happy with it. Pros: it fits comfortably in my hand, the voice sound is clear, the lighted buttons, the price, and it's not complicated. Con: camera picture quality is disappointing (it has the same camera as my Razr V3, yet the Razr takes better pics.) Would I recommend it? Yes, I would.
Summary: Phone arrived very quickly and worked completely fine. Have yet to have any problems. Did not ship with instruction book, not sure if it was suppose to or not, but would order from this company again.
Summary: I recently purchased this phone after carrying around a hideously out of date Sony Ericson for the last 4 years (but I am a technology cheapie.) Simply stuff your old SIM card into the phone, turn it on, find your network and your ready to go. Now the bad part - while this is a great phone you will not get signal inside your house. Outside - no problem, inside - well, better keep your other phone handy. Overall the call quality is very good.
Summary: I've had this phone for almost 9 months and have had very little trouble with it. It's compact, very stylish, and has some great features. As others have commented, the screen could be a bit bigger, but it's not all that important to me. My only complaint is I did drop my phone in a parking lot a few weeks ago and now there are 3 nicks on it.
Excerpt: Have had my V220 for almost a year. The camera is REALLY basic & has minimal contrast control. NOT good for action shots (capture rate is SLOW). I'm on Cingular in SoCal. I love Cingular. However, sometimes when i send a txt msg, phone tells me 'can't send now, try later', even though it's showing 3,4 or sometimes 5 bars for signal!! (kinda frustrating). Haven't had the patience for using the browser feature. It's slow too.
