Excerpt: This phone is pretty good if you need cheap plans and cheap phones. So, for instance, if you only use your cell phone for emergencies contacts and not conversations, this is the phone to use. The way to get the cheapest plan is to get the cheapest phone with the company and do basic plan, in which you pay by the minute.
Summary: My complaint is only weak antenna capturing signals. My nokia works inside my home, but this phone does not and always says no signals. Other than that, it's ok for the cheap price compare to others.
Summary: The phone never works. I have poor reception, the phone is full of static and PLEASE stay out of the wind or you will NEVER hear a thing! Half the time the phone does not even ring and I will be sitting right next to it. It looks more like a toy phone than a real phone. It is so small I can see why it does not work half the time. Don't waste your money, buy a better phone.
Excerpt: However, the camera takes sub-par quality photos and you can’t record things with this phone. It also has no video function. In conclusion, I will say that if you need a phone with the “bare necessities,” according to today’s day and age, this phone isn’t expensive and will get the job done. However, if you’re looking for luxuries in modern technology, I don’t recommend the Motorola V220 to you at all.
Excerpt: The Phone is not worth the investment. It shuts down on its own, loses signals sporadically, and causes way too many headaches. I dont want to financially support the makers of Excedrin, but with this phone I might as well have. Signals are dropped on a whim, stanidng still in the same spot, you will go from a full signal with your provider to a complete loss of one and go onto emergency only or no signal.
Excerpt: Doesn't work in my building. It does work in my workplace, which is a building too, located in Manhattan. So it seems to be a Bronx thing. Still, it SHOULD work in my building. I have to stick my head out the window to talk. Sound is choppy. Camera phone yields bad pictures. I don't recommend this phone.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for a just a few days over three months now and I've had nothing but trouble. The phone continually freezes and blacks out. I get dropped calls frequently and 90% of the time I can't hear the person I am talking to. Also the screen is incredibly small and the camera is horrible, even for a phone. I would not recommend this phone, im taking it back for the V551 or anything else. Don't buy this phone!
Excerpt: "Okay I didn't think Motorola would do me like this. It hasn't even been a year so I'm hoping my warranty will still do something for me. Okay why am I complaining:for starters that camera doesn't work. I get a blank screen which is black and then the thing just goes out and this isn't the first time I've heard about the phone doing this, my friend had the same problem. At times my phone can't send or receive text messages, so I have to take the sim ...
Excerpt: "...i would never buy a motorola again as i don't see them to be overly reliable, and well lets face it who wants an unreliable phone like this? another feature i liked about the mobile phone is the range of colours available; pink, silver or black. i would have preferred this phone if it had bluetooth as i think it's an important feature for a phone these days. ...
