Only my second cell phone and 1st clam shell. Love the clam shell design sice it goes in a pocket. Cingular seems to have good customer service but marginal coverage/reception (but better the Sprint according to friends). Everyone around me is switching to Verizon - lousy customer service & marketing but good reception and coverage, including the DC metro. Read more
Motorola V220 5 The overall design of the V220 is great. The buttons are nice and easy to read and push. The size and weight are good and it is easy to flip open. It has a button on the side for the camera and volume as well as voice dialing. The features on the phone are great. It is a camera phone and has the option of playing real music ringtones. This phone is junk!!! Between my girlfreind and I who share a plan we are now on our third set (thats 6 total) Motorola V220's because Cingular doesnt do anything when a phone goes bad aside from replace it with the identical phone. I literally lose 8 out of 10 calls, I lose signal while I am using the phone Ive watched the signal bars drop to zero lose my call and as soon as Im disconnected it shoots back up to full signal, I use 85 percent of my text package texting... first i like it very much but after using it a year or so its flip was cracked from inside and its camera was also out of order and also its speaker was damaged too and there was no voice in it so it was a bad experience u people should make it more stro... Read more
