I have owned a V220 for several years, but fried the charger when I took a chance in a European outlet. I wasn't sure whether it was only the charger or if I also fried the charging circuit in the phone. The phone worked, but I could not charge the battery. Because I enjoyed using my V220 as a primary phone and later as a secondary phone, I was pleased to find that I could order a new one through Amazon. Read more
I can honestly say this is the worst phone i have ever bought. I bought it on Ebay and it was relatively new when i bought it, i read a review on it prior to buying in which a person called the phoen the devil, i thought that they were just exaggerating.. but now i wish i had listened. I should start by saying that a lot of my opinion is based on a comparison with a newer, similarly basic, Samsung mobile phone that I have recently bought to communicate with my eldest daughter on a different network. I had this phone....it was my first cellphone....everytime i bumped it the screen went out and I had to get a replacement;Sometimes I didn't even bump it......the screen just goes black....I still have it in a shoe box....uhm the screen still doesn't work...^__^;;;;I like my sync phone way better...I guess my mom thought this was a good first cellphone....not enough memory for games either....camera was poor res...but it was alright......
