Motorola SLVR L7

Goodhunting, Rate it all!
12 November 2009
  • Summary: This could have been okay as a basic phone.. but this phone has some major problems. So you are better off paying a bit up and finding a better model without the hassles. a) There is no dedicated headset jack; I think you are supposed to use the micro-USB to connect earphones/mic. Good luck finding that while on the road if you don't have one. Using it as a music player with regular headset is ruled out because of this. b) The bluetooth connection is not stereo.

Phone Dissapoints

johnnyarthurw, Ebay
8 August 2009
  • Summary: The buttons suck for texting! That's really the only thing I cared about when I was looking for a replacement phone. They are flat and hard to tell which one is which without looking. Plus, I am constantly switching the mode from t9 to 123 mode, which can lead to half the message suddenly ending up like this: "Hey what's ha93293 93929 939 329 21 2 12 24." It is also very, very slow.

Poor Quality Battery Supplied with Phone

bizrainmaker, Ebay
25 August 2007
  • Summary: I purchased my Motorola Slvr 7 with high hopes that its numerous features would help me carry less--the MP3 capability seemed an attractive solution to not having to carry both from one place to another. Unfortunately, upon adding a 1Gig card to the phone, when downloading from the computer to the phone, the computer acknowledged the download, but the phone never could locate the files...as if they weren't there. Sux..!!!!

Sumair Khan, Phone Arena

  • Excerpt: I have used this phone for about 5 Months and it totally sucks. It cant even play MP4 Format. It can but it looks like this set cant decode the MPEG4 Format properly. The only thing i like is the sound quality at least its better than V3i. The Blue tooth receiving speed is very very slow. I send a song from my Sony Ericsson K700i and it took about 30 Minutes......... Yeah thats true 30 Mins. and guess what the song size was just 4.2 MB....!!!!!!!!!!

should have been tested prior to launch

peter.lynne, Dooyoo
14 October 2006
  • Excerpt: It looks good, it has a great shape, and it is easy to use... but it is unreliable. This is my second slvr.. and carphone warehouse replaced it once. it continuously shuts down and reboots.. I cannot have a call that lasts more than 3 minutes. I was told this is a minor software problem. Unacceptable for a product this price. Very disappointing. This is sad, because the phone's software is well designed, the user experience is good.

MP3 - Hände weg

RLia, geizhals.de
27 May 2013
