This phone is not for AT&T customers.

  • Summary: Received a phone with great expectations of Motorola brand. It has a solid design and good basic features for T-Mobile customers. Don't expect this phone to work 100% percent for AT&T network. The SIM card have to be authenticated by performing several steps of changing and disabling a PIN number. This procedure have to be performed every time after battery being discharged or removed. Multimedia Messaging and WEB is not accessible.

Nice looking phone but missing some features

  • Excerpt: I've only had the phone 4 days. Initially I loved it because of the way it looks, the screen size and the tracball. Now that I've actually got in & messed around w/ it I like it less. There's no alarm, which I always use, no calculator (another thing I use), the camera's picture is good but if you barely move, & I mean barely, the pic will be blurry. Also, things won't update like how many contacts I have, etc. until I turn it off then back on.

It's ok....

  • Excerpt: The Sidekick Slide is ok, but it could be a lot better! Some pros are: Full keyboard, loud speaker, slim and small, easy to use, Cons: Small screen, keys on keyboard are not that great, takes awhile to get used to the speaker when you put it up to your ear, I would recommends the T-Mobile Sidekick LX over the Sidekick Slide.
