While it worked it was great

NARNTEK3049, Amazon
6 July 2014
  • Summary: I got this phone In june of 2009. I really loved it and babied it, If i could have protected everything on it with a cover I would. I had a full body screen protector on it and never dropped it a lot of times, I only remember like 2 times. It was running low on battery one day and then just shut off and i tried to get it to power back on, but the music buttons were all that lit up. I COULDNT get the keys over to the number-style and i couldnt get it on.

Rockr Review

Kappu, Amazon
18 November 2010
  • Summary: looks cool.. but shows the circuit on the face of the fone which i found odd.. the response time was bad and the fone hung many times during normal usage and the only option i had was to restart it by removing the battery (bad practice).. it also restarted itself while listening to songs a lot of times... would not recommend this product...

THIS PHONE SUCKS

seekerofdestiny, Phone Arena
5 September 2010
  • Excerpt: This has been my third Motorola T-mobile phone and I had it for about 5 months and had to have it replaced becasue of software issues and the phone they sent had to be replaced within a couple of days for screen issues. This FHONE I think is one of Motorola's WORST phoens. Like I said I have owned three diferent phones from Motorola for T-Mobile.
  • Pros: The music player was good has great internal memory and supports another 4GB on a Micro SDcard
  • Cons: Everything else. Fhone is not worth the headache beacuse it laaaaaaags really baaaaaaaaad.

How do I hate thee, let me count the ways...

MMPKT, Amazon
1 January 2010
  • Summary: So disappointed in this phone!!! * It's the butt-dialing-ist phone you'll ever have if you don't remember to always always use the slide lock on the side of the phone after every use. * Even with volume maxed, I often can't hear the ring from this phone when it's in my purse. I have to carry it in my pocket if I'm expecting a call, and use the vibrate / then ring feature. * As other reviewers have noted, it is very slow to go through tasks.

Basically functional, but disappointing

Ralph M., Amazon
26 November 2009
  • Summary: I got this phone free when I signed up with T-Mobile, and have since replaced it. Overall, I found this phone disappointing. My main problem with it is that it does not have an actual keypad-- rather, it has a flat surface that is touch-sensitive. I found this clumsy and awkward to use, and never got used to it. The phone itself is a bit bigger than you might expect.

Phone is Not Responsive to Touch

Music Fan, Amazon
24 November 2009
  • Summary: As other reviewers have indicated, the processor sometimes freezes up, which means that when you press a button, there can be a lag or delay before the phone processes that the button has actually been pressed. The delays can be as short as a second or two, or can last for close to a minute. This is particularly frustrating when a call is coming in and you press (and press and press) "answer", but the phone does not answer the call and it bounces into voice mail.

Really slow and bad experience

Hon Lam "lionhearthunterH", Amazon
12 November 2009
  • Summary: I payed for the phone this summer, good looking surface, really cool features, but way too SLOW! The basic features don't work at all. The phone would take 5 minutes just to call someone or pick up phone calls. Furthermore I had a bad experience with the company that sold me the phone. they sent me an email expressing their concerns about my feedback, but never got back to me! I would recommend getting another pone.

So many problems

Ken MC "K", Amazon
1 September 2009
  • Summary: Wow...so many annoying problems. Although the phone has "fixed" itself now it was very very annoying for a while. First I could not receive calls then people could not dial my number, then people had to dial my number plus area code. Second every text I received was duplicated, triplicated or multiplied up to 10 times! As in I would receive the same text multiple times.

As close to a MP3 player for a phone as it gets

Joe Shopper, Amazon
19 August 2009
  • Summary: Given 1 star for the easy access to songs/artist/albums/shuffle, and another for decent battery life and the mini usb/usb charging capabilities. It's all down hill from there. I must warn all of you, the phone I bought from hasselfree(or whatever they changed their name to) came shipped to me as a Russian phone. Russian text on the keys(just looks lame). I feel like a complete idiot for buying this phone.

Falling apart!

S. Allison, Amazon
29 December 2009
  • Summary: Had this Motorola Rokr E8 for 6 months now and this once little gem is falling apart. I've given it 2 out of 5 because the phone freezes once in a while and now its stopped ringing when on ring only, only way to make it ring is too allocate a ring tone too each contact. One feature i like is it will build a list of the people you text the most which saves time when texting. This phone was great for the first two months but now i'm afraid its a pile of poo.
