Summary: Refubishment done with inferior quality materials/methods. After only nine months, the adhesive used to reattach the navigation ring on the front and the decorative plate surrounding the camera lens and flash on the back let go. Warranty on refurbishment is 30 days, so company will not repair it for free.
Summary: Myself and two co-workers had this device, back in 2007. For all three of us, the middle button fell off through normal use. For my co-worker who used the device more than me, the ring of buttons around the centre button also fell off. The buttons being glued on is not cool. Other than that, it functioned fine. Nothing spectacular about it, but it was good for what it was.
Summary: I'd read all the reviews which were, for the most part, positive. The phone arrived on time from the shipper. I loaded the SIM, but then every time I opened the slider and pressed with any pressure at all, the phone would short out and turn off. Don't know if this problem is specific to my phone, but the slider concept appears inherently risky given the moving parts.
Motorola Rizr, It worked good, but then had issues

Summary: I really loved this phone initially, EVERY SINGLE feature of it. It was really advanced for the timing that this was in in like 2006-07. It had good features. But it kept shutting off. At first I thought that I might've turned off it by sitting on it, or forgot I shut it off, or turned it off to charge and it was just not turned on. This happened more frequently, until one day, it just blinked the keys at me and didn't want to turn on.
Summary: The best feature of this phone is the camera. The slider is the second best feature. This phone seemed a good idea at the time of purchase. I wanted it for it's Mp3 player. The Mp3 player really sucks, poor sound quality and poor software design. The uSD card holder is very difficult. I have to push down on a tab while I use a very small screwdriver to push out the card. This piece of junk only supports up to 2GB uSD cards, no the newer uSD formats.
Summary: I bought this phone after someone had suggested it. It looks good, and has simple features. It does not charge! I tried even buying a car charger and it still charges off and on. I bought it in Sept and I have yet to get a full charge on it. If you are thinking about buying this phone I suggest going with another one.
Summary: My wife and I both got RIZRs. The wheel fell off hers. The wheel stopped working on mine. This happened after the 1 yr TMobile guarantee, but well before the 2 yr contract. This is the first time I've had a phone fail to last a 2 yr contract. I intend to go back to Nokias.
Summary: The phone is fine, sound great, other features fine, holds memory card, takes fairly good pictures. Only problem is I have t-mobile and I can't access t-zones for account information and downloads, I can't dial voicemail automatically using their 1+send option, and I can't access the web. Took it into the store and the rep told me that sometimes with unlocked phones they aren't able to get web access.
Excerpt: I got this phone to replace my Razr. I would definitely get a razr now if given the choice. For one, it has an akward design. narrow but very tall. Feels weird in you pocket. Thick, very thick, when i have it in my loose fitting jeans front pocket it unlockes itself and starts hittting buttons its so tight in the pocket. Texting, when using t9 an average speed typist will out type the phone. It is very laggy in that matter. Apps, they suck, straight up.
