Motorola MOTORIZR Z3 Review

Digitaltrends
10 May 2007
  • Conclusion: Considering the MOTORIZR Z3’s handsome appearance, it’s a shame someone didn’t spend more time making its varying multimedia applications a bit more intuitive. However, this phone is still a solid device with an above average camera. If you want a music phone from T-Mobile, though, we recommend the Nokia XpressMusic 5300 .
  • Pros: Thin; compact slider design; 2MP camera w/light; stereo Bluetooth
  • Cons: Counterintuitive music and camera applications; microSD slot behind battery cover; short talk time

Motorola RIZR Z3

Tech2
2 April 2007
  • Excerpt: The RIZR marks the Motorola’s entry into the world of slider phones, dominated largely by Samsung at the moment. Sliders are nothing new, so what does the RIZR have, to make up for the long absence from this form factor? Design The phone is a bit thicker than the RAZR when kept side by side, but it’s a lot narrower, though not as narrow as the KRZR. The length is almost the same as the RAZR, just a wee bit longer.

  • Summary: Motorola's first ever slider phone is a solid, but not outstanding mobile phone. The MOTORIZR offers a well balanced set of features for a pretty good price, but there is nothing new or unique about this handset.
  • Pros: Solid and well built, excellent slider, A2DP Bluetooth profile, good voice call quality
  • Cons: Buttons and keys require a firm press to activate, no standard 3.5mm headphone jack, speed of messaging and menu
