LOTSA FLASHY LOOKS IN A GHETTO-TYPE CELL PHONE!!! Now I'll see if it works as good as it looks!!

Paul T. Nawrocki "wisgrdnr", Amazon

  • Summary: Battery drains fast! The phone is beautiful but I have much to learn about it. I downloaded the Owners' Manual and I will read all 96 pages thoroughly...especially about adding ring tones. I used to use Data Pilot by Susteen, but the V-8 isn't compatible with Data Pilot's downloading abilities. I have enjoyed my 3 V3 Razr phones and my 2 V3Xxx Razrs. I am hoping this phone is also a "favourite" of mine. I'll know that in a few weeks.

Really good customer service..

Derek D. Bermel, Amazon
21 June 2013
  • Summary: I ordered the RAZR2 V8 Unlocked Phone cause i wanted to downgrade my phone in order to save some money, but upon receiving it i realized it was defective. Now i have nothing against the seller of these phones as they did everything in there power to help me with this issue, they were very kind, however i am kinda ticked at Motorola. I mean most phones go through an inspection process to make sure that the phone works, but not these phones.

Razr2 - A decent phone at best

bumpsetspike, epinions.com
26 August 2009
  • Summary: If you are looking for something great, this isn't for you. It's a decent phone, so it will do, but go for something cheaper for the quality.
  • Pros: Slim and sleek, lightweight, easy to use, good signal, good camera
  • Cons: texting is a bit more difficult, external touch is limited, charger slot problems

Pretty cell with bad battery

Eduardo S. Carvalho, Amazon
5 March 2009
  • Summary: The phone is not so good as I thought being more expensive and less friendly than my old V3. The battery is the worst part. I don't know whether it is normal if it stays on for only 24h in standby (when the ad promissed up to 330h) or the seller did send me an old and worn out one, which is more likely and a nasty thing to do to a customer.

OK phone

C. Yu, Amazon
10 September 2008
  • Summary: Not bad overall, but expected more from a motorola razr. Not exactly user friendly. Setting is not very convient. Needed a few too many clicks to get to where you would want or what you want to do. You can change the shortcut keys on the keypad, but very limited options. No noise reduction, unless I haven't find it yet, but it doesn't seems like it's there. It will pick up every sound from the back ground: wind, other people conversation...

Constant Problems

tshimko1, Phone Arena
2 August 2008
  • Excerpt: THe RAZR2 V8 is a nice phone - but that's where it ends. I paid $399 for it to replace the crappy samsung I had - For the first 2-3 months it was great then it started acting weird. Battery wouldn't keep a full charge, it would lockup, it would go nutz when trying to txt message. It was just a slew of issues. I had to keep "rebooting" it 2x a day to get it to work. Replaced it with another one and same thing.
