The Motorola Razr Maxx Ve is a true performer, once you get past its boring all-black exterior and outdated UI. The construction of the phone feels to be made well, and reminds us of our beloved StarTac. Read more

The Motorola RAZR MAXX V6 is a stylish handset that lets you access the Internet at speeds comparable to many people's home broadband connections. It also feels well built and has good music features. We just wish the menu system was easier to get your head around and that it used standard T9 predictive text instead of its own iTap system. In the end, the RAZR maxx Ve is nothing more than a V3m with a better display, better camera, and better (but buggy) Bluetooth. With the buggy Bluetooth out of the equation, this is nothing more than a modest improvement to a mid-range phone for over $350, fixing the major complaints about the original RAZR. Does it stand out from the RAZR2? That’s hard to say… the auto-focusing camera might perform better (we’ll let you know on that one when we review the RAZR2... Read more

If you can look past the slow messaging, iffy software interface and fingerprint smudges, the Motorola Razr Maxx V6 is actually a rather nice phone to use. Most of my annoyances stem from my own excessive SMS usage patterns, which crosses swords with the V6's only real significant problem. And with such a broad range of features (most of them rather well implemented), is there enough here to warrant you buying one now rather than waiting for the all-new Razr? Unless the... Read more

This is a slightly less conventional revue to give you an idea of some of my own likes and dislikes. Several things which weren't mentioned in the Cnet review...or reviews anywhere else: * Fingerprints - I think if you Google "fingerprints", the first search result will be the Ve Maxx. We all know this. However, all you have to do is go "HaHHHH" (exhale out) on the hardened glass surface (not plastic) and wipe it across your jeans/shirt/friend's arm sleeve and... Read more

Nice camera and video, great flash. Only thing I noticed is that the sound is low on videos. Good speaker phone, opened or closed. Slow at reacting to checking out your pics and videos. Phone is a little big and has some weight to it. But decent phone. Read more

The company did not deliver the correct product as ordered. The company did not respond to inquiries until Amazon.com was notified. The company did not honor the original price for the product that was ordered, and canceled the order instead of making it right. Read more
