Summary: I purchased this phone because it has much better reception in my home, especially in my basement office. Our cell reception is poor here because we are in a low valley, even though near towers. My last 3 cell phones have had the same problem. While it is out of production it works better than newer cell phones. I actually have two similar phones for business and personal. It is easier to hold and open instead of small polished phones.
Summary: So far I am pleased with it. A better phone than the Razar I replaced it with. The battery stays charged longer. Too bad U S Cellular no longer carry them. I do not need a smart phone as this does everything I need it to do. Not a perfect phone but one I would buy again.
The Quantico is a SUPER phone all they way around!

Summary: The Motorola Quantico is an EXCELLENT military spec. phone that is basic, but VERY durable. The texting is easy on it and it withstands a lot of "dropping, kicking, etc." and keeps on working. It's not a smart phone so that's the only reason I gave it a 4/5 on features, because the features it does have work well also. This is a great phone and the Kyocera that U.S. Cellular says is its replacement is CRAP; don't waste your money!
Summary: This is an extremely rugged phone with enough features to satisfy my needs. I ordered a red rubberized cover so that if it dropped or lost it would be easy to see because of the color. I am still discovering some of it's unique features. I once owned an AT&T Tundra vr6 phone which was very similar to this phone and also made by Motorola. These phones are not fancy, but they just "KEEP ON TICKING".
Summary: Tho out of production , this phone is superior for the hard of hearing. A fabulous improvement over low budget US Cellular flip open phones. I can hear and converse on this one. Do wish the ring was loud enough to hear, or would offer vibrate.
