jermus, Bestbuy
  • Summary: First off this is a budget phone, I own a Kyocera Hydro Edge and it's been great, it's waterproof in up to 3.5 feet of water for 30 minutes.
  • Pros: Loud Speakerphone, compact, decent speed, decent screen
  • Cons: Wireless signal, NO expandable memory, slower than most

  • Summary: I waited a few years to actually get a brand new phone and when I saw this I fell in love. It was slim and had a higher MP camera which was a must for me since I love to take pictures. It responds quickly to touch and was easy to figure out but for me this phone has a major downfall. It is EXTREMELY fragile. I've always owned Samsung phones and those phones can take a beating. This phone falls out of the pocket on my baby's diaper bag and BOOM!

Suffers from bugs at some providers

Stanislav K., Newegg
13 June 2014
  • Summary: My wife is the actual users of the phone, and not being able to make or receive calls is a huge letdown.
  • Pros: A decent all around Android phone
  • Cons: With T-Mobile, the phone suffers from "No SIM card" error, which freezes this particular phone at least once a day, and requires physically taking the SIM card out. This is a huge inconvenience.

European Charger - Not stated in product description

Karthik Viswanathan, Amazon
5 June 2014
  • Summary: I just received this phone and found that it had a European style charger. I didnt see this explicitly stated anywhere. Customers would be better served if major items are stated very explicitly.

Incomplete information about memory!!! 8GB only!!!

Joel, Amazon
27 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this smart phone a few days earlier, but what a surprise when I opened the back cover and discovered that it had 8GB of memory instead of 16GB!!! With the price I paid (around US$238,00), I could easily find a dual SIM with 16GB of memory!!! Now I am in Brazil and I can not change the product anymore. The information of memory is not available for this product!!!

neXscene, Walmart
16 May 2014
  • Summary: Everything's great so I'm going to just focus on the CONS. The menu's and how each page can be edit is NO WHERE near like a Samsung or most other smart phone. Guess that's why it's under $100. -BATTERY IS NON-REMOVABLE -BUILT IN ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -NO memory card slot. Phone only has 8GB. -You cannot slide left/right on a contact to text/call them. -You cannot delete certain phone #'s in the call log. Clear all or nothing.

Poor wifi, already had to do factory restore

Timothy M., Newegg
26 April 2014
  • Summary: I had hoped to get Sprint's other sub carrier Virgin mobile to activate the phone, but they won't do it. Virgin's phone selection is poorer than Boost's. Now I'm stuck with the phone regardless.
  • Pros: Gorgeous screen, fits in hand great, loud!
  • Cons: - Wifi is terrible. Constantly forgets WEP passphrase

"Buy if you can't afford a smartphone."

blog_craft, CNET
13 January 2014
  • Pros: Cheap, a good processor, and big screen.
  • Cons: Cheap... bad camera, terrible motorola apps, a lot of non compatible apps, still android is not 100% stock (firmware is carrier personalized) OS updates will NOT be launched in all motog's worldwide. And in time, the phone gets laggier every day.
