The RAZR is the runway models of cell phones: anorexic but fashionable. The new KRZR K1 is the same runway model, but with more memory, a shorter chassis, and a bigger bottom. Yet somehow we found it strangely more desirable than a RAZR. Our unit came outfitted with nifty MP3 playback and VCAST services letting us alternately rock out or watch music videos and TV shows. (Really, who can resist a 5-minute Daily Show clip?) But for longtime RAZR users, the incremental... Read more

The Motorola Krzr K1m is a mid range handset that competes with a plethora of other mid range handsets with multimedia features like the LG Chocolate and Samsung Sync. We liked the Krzr K1m's styling, but beyond that there's not a lot to recommend the phone. The camera is sub-par, battery life was poor and the software and operating system are old and in some places (like the album software) ridiculously frustrating. We did find the music functionality of the Krzr K1m... Read more

Funny how things work out sometimes. I have been trying to figure out if Motorola copied the LG Chocolate phone with the heat sensitive buttons on the KRZR, but LG has seemed to knock-off much of the 8600’s design from the RAZR. And then what happens…both handsets arrive at Gadgetell HQ’s the same day. Read on for a more in depth look (in pictures and words) at two of the hottest flip phones currently available, by competing manufacturers, at Verizon Wireless. Read more

There's nothing necessarily wrong with the new good looking Motorola KRZR K1m which is available from Verizon for $199.99 w/ contract or $299.99 if you're simply upgrading. The problem... Read more

Motorola certainly has been at the top of their industry in coming up with the most innovative cell phones with lots of neat features, a sleek look, and bizarre names. The new Motorola KRZR K1 lives up to all that and then some. The KRZR body is similar to the RAZR, but Motorola also added some things to spice it up a bit. The Motorola KRZR K1m is available from Verizon Wireless for a two-year contract for $250. Read more

I had this phone since Feb. I have the white one with the mirror plate. It's a good phone, has good sound, good reception and a decent camera BUT it isn't the greatest phone. The finish on my keypad is already wearing off as well as the silver finish around the mail screen. The inbox fills up FAST, the warning message is a little annoying. Comment Read more
