Summary: So true. Phone was very inexpensive. I only needed it to store phone numbers and a few speed dial numbers. That's it, other than placing calls. That's what it does. Plenty of sounds so you''re not stuck with something you absolutely hate. The back falls off often and it takes a long time for the battery to charge. If you need just bare-bones-basic, then this is it. Comes with two batteries.
Not U.S. version as advertised. Awkward differences
18 November 2012
Summary: I have owned three or four true U.S. version KRZRs, and the one shipped is clearly an international version. There are awkward differences. Screen layout/customization/preferences are not as good as the U.S. I can tolerate certain spelling variations but the U.S. version was advertised and not shipped. Returning until I find an honest seller. Otherwise I like the basic phone (preferrably U.S.) obviously after owning several. Great for voice/text users.
So, for that time it was pretty good and beautiful phone

Summary: First time I bought Motorola K1 at the USA in 2007. For that time it was pretty good and beautiful phone, even now its design one of the best. I had blue color and prepared it as a present for my mom. Of coarse because it looks 100% ladies phone. Menu is pretty simple, easy to use, shortcut buttons can be changed to make phone more convenient and personal.
Summary: I seriously doubt that Motorola is involved at all with this phone. Saying that, it is cheap, and works OK. I think the main issue is the cheap battery. My phone started dropping calls after 4 months, and would turn off every time the Bluetooth connected. All that was fixed with a genuine Motorola BC50 battery. So, when you buy the phone, also plan on another $20 for a genuine battery.
Summary: Mine really isn't an "International," it's an AT&T branded that someone has managed to unlock. Works ok with my T-Mobil account but every time I turn it on it wakes up thinking it's supposed to connect to AT&T and takes some extra time to figure out who it's supposed to connect to. Once fired up it works ok and I've had no problems with voice quality others mention.
Summary: hey the phone is great, i guess the only negative thing i do find attractive the style of the screen, it looks Chinese and stuff but besides that everything looks and feels great. great product must have!!!!!!!
Summary: I like the sleek look and the color and the back lit keypad. But, it lacks some basic functions unless I missed something in the manual. I bought the Moto Tool Kit as well and it is not compatible with Macintosh. My little Nokia has more functions than this MotoKRZR K1. It is more for style than function. I will use until it quits then bite the bullet and upgrade.
Summary: This is a very sleek phone and I loved the color. Everything was very good with this phone, until I removed the stickers from the phone about a week after initial use. Then it gradually started picking up tiny dust particles (it was never exposed to a particularly dusty environment) inside the outer LCD display. You can't wipe it clean, and it was getting to the point where it would have obstructed the display totally given enough time.
