List All 15 PricesThe Motorola Krzr K1 is a stylish clamshell feature phone. It won't suit anyone seeking a high-tech mobile with high performance but the slim form factor and decent specs may tempt some people. Read more
Motorola has launched a new leader. The popular RAZR is being substituted by the new KRZR, whose glossy materials look luxurious. On the other hand, the innovations made since the forerunner are very few. Is this wrong? Not at all, provided all you need is a new pretty toy. Read more
I t’s upto you how you pronounce it—'crazer', 'K-RAZR' or 'kerzer'—but Motorola’s KRZR K1 doesn’t jump out at you like the RAZR did once upon a time. Perhaps it’s because slim and shiny phones are no longer a novelty. Or perhaps it’s because the KRZR is just not different enough from the RAZR to warrant it’s own series. Design Most simply, the KRZR is a narrow and thick version of the RAZR. Read more
Though the GSM Motorola Krzr K1 has a more attractive color scheme than the CDMA Krzr K1m, some feature differences make it mostly comparable with its sibling. Read more
It's hard to get better looking than the MOTOKRZR; the phone will turn heads (at least until everyone has one) and it looks like a $500 fashion accessory. Fortunately, it sells for a good deal less than that, though the price is a bit high for the phone's features. Then again, the ever so fashionable Nokia 8801 will set you back even further, so the KRZR might look like a bargain in some circles. Read more

The pink Krzr K1 is an attractive phone, but it's also easy to use. Motorola has made some small changes to the original Razr V3's interface that make a big difference. Add to that the camera and music player and this phone is a good all-rounder, and hopefully a sign of things to come Read more
The main screen, battery life and camera aren’t as good as they could be, but the handset design is very appealing and Motorola has tried hard to make its flat numberpad more user friendly – and for this user at least, has succeeded. I wonder if the K1 part of the name may indicate we are in for a K2 and K3. Let’s hope these aren’t just more of the same in pink! Read more
M otorola was founded in 1928 by the brothers Paul and Joseph Galvin. Company names are often based on a combination of names or the place where the product is made, but not Motorola. Where does the name Motorola actually come from? In 1930, the Galvin MFG. Corporation (as Motorola was then called) built the first commercial car radio. Back then, in America, car radios cost between $ 110 and $ 135, an exorbitant amount in those days, but it still became a hit. Read more
Motorola has done it again. The KRZR has set its sights on the big time. Read more
I bought this phone as a replacement. My husband loved his old phone, but had trouble keeping it charged and was looking for a new phone. He did not want a smart phone. This was the perfect solution for him. The phone is brand new and is working perfectly. Would buy it again. I also bought another one for myself but couldn't decide between it and another smart phone. The seller was wonderful to work with. In the end, I decided to keep it. Read more
Very nice basic phone. That's all I'm looking for. Good design, nice keypad, nice size, good basic features. Wish it had more earpiece volume compared to my last LG flip phone. Read more

Just wanted to chime in and differ with the reviewer's comments on reception. He must have had a bad unit, because I've been using my k1 here in the States for about four months on a very poorly-built-out network (T-Mobile), and its reception is quite excellent. I frequently have service with my KRZR when my other device, also T-Mobile, does not. Read more
I purchased this phone because of its sleek design and because I needed a phone. Being an owner of many phones there is a lot of things I guess I expected and found to be flawed with this phone. For example.. -If you're speaking to someone on the phone and they are giving you a phone number and you write the number in your phone, the number disappears as soon as they hang up (Very annoying). This phone does what I want a phone to do and doesn't overload me with features I'll never use. I want a phone that works, is durable, has good reception (I'm on the fringe for all carriers), that I can leave turned-on in standby mode for days, and that doesn't require a magnim holster to carry it around. This does it. Read more
I got this phone 2 months ago and I gotta say it's one of the best I've owned so far. Sleek and stylish, it delivers the goods inside and out. Read more
I've had the K1 since October 2006 and it has lasted me very well - the phone is still in perfect working order and I have had no major problems with it. The design is very sleek, and available in a variety of colours to suit individual tastes. The keypad lights up when you touch any key which is an attractive feature and useful when using the phone in the dark. The K1 comes with a camera which is useful although the quality is poor, still better than nothing. Read more

I have had this handset for 18 months and whilst generaly OK I have lost count of the number of photos of the inside of my pocket I have taken or the changing ring styles just by catching the buttons on the side of the phone. If you can live with these minor nigles as I could then its great, if they are going to wind you up then dont get it. As for me \i am about to upgrade and am going back to Samsung phones as Motorola have stagnated again!! Read more

With its shiny metallic-glass front thin design, the K1m flip-phone is a fashion statement. The phone also includes a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with video capture and playback, innovative touch sensor music, integrated GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.0 technology, Over-the-Air Synchronization and expandable memory up to 1 GB through optional microSD cards. The open K1m feels very comfortable against the ear, and because it’s so narrow, it’s easy to hold. The K1m’s display is very bright and clear, and has a wide viewing angle. The comfortable keypad has a cool aqua-blue backlight. Multimedia is where the KRZR K1m falls apart. The reception and sound quality of the KRZR is good. Voices are clear and had no interference or static. However, if a user’s hand completely covers up the bottom of the phone that houses the internal antenna, there will be a drop in call quality. The earpiece speaker has eight levels of volume, with medium or medium-high sounding best. The speakerphone is clear and not distorted as long as the volume is not turned up to the highest setting. Users can also close the flip while using the speakerphone. The battery delivers 3 hours of talk time and 6 days of standby.
Not only is the 1.3-megapixel camera hardly cutting-edge, but it also lacks a flash. The phone also has decent MP3 capabilities. Users may buy and download songs directly from VCAST, or upload files from a PC via USB cable. However, users may not use iTunes files, but must upload songs from a Windows computer via Windows Media Player 10. VCAST’s video menu took a long time to load on the phone, the interface seemed sluggish, and videos were very choppy. Plus, while the V CAST Music store works smoothly, users have to open the phone and click at least three times before music starts playing. The external touch-sensitive buttons are pretty, but they can be both not sensitive enough. However, the speaker is loud and games played adequately well. The phone uses a USB jack for headsets, but comes with an adapter for standard 2.5-mm headsets. The new KRZR K1m is an improvement on the previous KRZR, but there are other slim phones available with better multimedia options.
See lessImagine a phone you’ll look forward to. Every time you flip it open, the MOTOKRZR will outshine the rest. It takes crisp photos, offers more entertainment and will help you make the most of your time. With a distinctive metallic and the reflective qualities of a mirror, MOTOKRZR is an elegant phone.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem with the Krzr K1? Large flip screen turns white at times, while the small outer screen shows date and time just fine. The phone is able to make out going calls; but incoming calls are intercepted by voicemail. Time for a new phone huh!
