Excerpt: This phone isn't that great. You are really limited as to what you can do with it. It is horrible to surf the web with. the one goo thing I can say about it is that it is a pretty good texting phone. But if you want to use it to surf the web or to tether to your laptop it sucks. It is slow, the screen is always going black on, you can't view web pages, and if you are able to view the web page then you aren't able to access any of the links, also have to restart it...
Excerpt: I bought this phone because I saw some good reviews on some website. I cannot wait for my two year contract to be up! It is cute and people think it is great because it has a full keyboard and is a fun little square shape. I just think it is terrible. The shortcuts are not really shortcuts. It is not easy to program or set up the buttons and what you want them to be. The picture quality is not as good as most phones have now. I don't have a data plan or connection...
Summary: The product is as described. The problem appeared when I registered the item with Motorola and was informed that the warranty had expired. The Amazon description stated clearly, "with warranty"; but I have seen no evidence that such a warranty exists.
Summary: I bought this based on other reviews.. I wanted something that was easy to text on.. The buttons are wayyyyyyyy too small.. I also had a hard time with the phone freezing and resetting itself.. Get a iPhone!
Summary: First let me say, I am a hardcore fan of all products Motorola. That being said, I purchased a Karma under a year ago and until the past couple weeks have loved the phone. Recently anything mechanical that could go wrong with it has. The screen half of the phone that slides over the keyboard has come unfastened from the frame that is supposed to hold it in place.
Pros: The keyboard is great, and makes shooting off messages really easy. The sound quality is pretty good too, and if you upload the photos to a computer, they are large and decent in quality.
Cons: The phone has had issues recognizing cell towers, my SIM card, or my memory card. It also freezes occasionally, requiring the battery to be removed in order to restart. This appears to be a common occurrence with others who have this phone as well.
Three Defective Mototola Karmas in less than 6 months

Summary: When I was eligible for an equipment upgrade, I chose the Motorola Karma. I liked the form, the design and the fact that I could use a standard earbud to listen to music. The first Karma would intermittently freeze then reset itself at random intervals. AT&T replaced it with a refurbished Karma which after a month of use, simply froze with the AT&T logo on the screen and would do nothing else - not even power off.
