Excellent 3G non-smartphone with slide down keyboard.

djrevdonbidding, Ebay
10 December 2013
  • Summary: I used this phone for 2 years. I then passed it on to my mother who has used it to this day (Christmastime 2013). This thing is an absolute workhorse. It does everything she needs. The slide down keyboard was a little bit small for my fingers, but I managed ok. It's perfect for her, though. She refuses to upgrade due to the fact that it does photos, messaging, Yahoo! Mail, and Facebook. It's all she wants. One nice bonus is that it isn't a smartphone.

Great phone but 3 out of 5 I've owned had screens to "blackout" eventually

007crickett, Ebay

  • Summary: This is my favorite phone. Easy to use. Fits perfectly into my back pocket. The only problem I have with this type of phone is that I have had 3 different ones to have the screen to "black-out" on me. They still made sounds but the screens would start to flicker for a week or so and eventually went totally black so I couldn't use them anymore. It might be from me carrying them in my back pocket even tho I never sat on them or it could just be the phones themselves.

Nothing Better

SingingEagle, Phone Arena

  • Excerpt: I absolutely enjoy this phone in the 2+ yrs I've had it. I've never had an iPhone, Blackberry, Droid, or any of those more seemingly high tech phones that require higher monthly charges. I was always able to access the internet WHEN NEEDED. I am not interested in carrying a mini laptop with me. I have that at home.
  • Pros: All the features needed without blackberry monthly charges
  • Cons: Bulky

  • Excerpt: If you are looking for a great phone, with the best signal strength  around, just check out this little wonder.  The phone has a loud ringstyle that you cant miss a call. The operation of the phone is so simple that you wont have to even read the manual.  The standby time is also great.  Fully functional in everyway.  I ve had so .... many phones and have been searching for one to stop the search and spent loads of cash... NOW I am satisifed!! The search is over.

  • Excerpt: Other than battery and freezing and dropped connections, the left hand friendly keyboard and aggrivating dialing in the locked mode the QA1 has a screen that is a welcome sight ,clear and focused.easy to see and adjust to preference.Although the keyboard keys are a little small and close together (except for those with sculpted nails),are sufficiant for all texting needs. The camera both still and video options are great but falls a little short on the memory space for...

Motorola Karma is overalll a good phone.

  • Excerpt: I chose my Motorola Karma online by looking and comparing at phones on the AT&T webpage. Overall, it works well. It is a little heavier than my previous cell phones. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time; which is very important to me. The keyboard buttons are somewhat small, but I've adapted. I wouldn't reccommend to someone with big fingers who plans on doing a lot of texting. I have big fingers and hard a hard time at first, but I have adapted.
