Excerpt: Stylish piece. LED feature is really awesome. Flip is smooth and good. Speaker is loud and above average. Camera of SE cedar is a far far n far better than this. This doesn't look like 2 MP at all. Bluetooth of my phone is not working properly. Buttons are too large and give you a wry look. Messaging is a little difficult from this phone as changing mode takes a lot of time(from 'Abc' to 'ABC', 'ABC' to 'abc'....
Summary: I got this phone because of the flip top, as I had a little disabled wire-haired dachshund. I frequently had to bend down to attend to his needs, and so the flip top protected the screen when it (frequently) fell out of my shirt pocket! Could have done with an easier setup for email and web. I have the web, but can't work out the email. I wouldn't call this bad, but a personal preference. Flip top still useful as I still have my little Jack Russell.
Pros: I got this phone because of the flip top, as I had a little disabled wire-haired dachshund. I frequently had to bend down to attend to his needs, and so the flip top protected the screen when it (frequently) fell out of my shirt pocket.
Cons: Could have done with an easier setup for email and web. I have the web, but can't work out the email.
Summary: Why is this phone unknown on the Motorola site I wonder! I wanted to try and download software to make the bluetooth work - nae chance..Predictive text takes more keystrokes than original basic operation obviously no dictionary. Granted, it makes and receives calls OK but has other very annoying attributes.
Pros: Big easy keys
Cons: bluetooth unconnectable (Renault/Arkemis,) predictext, support
Summary: all reviews i read are from new users of this,so after a few weeks of it i found it to be a basic useless phone, all it does is freeze and i have to turn the phone off by the battery and this is my third, motorola arent pushing the advertising with this phone as they are embarrased about the bsoftware fault and if i send it to be repaired,i automatically get a new one and not a fixed one as they know when the software goes, its unfixable, beware
Summary: I purchased one of these from my local Argos store. Yes, it does everything they claim, but the user interface is a bit clunky to say the least. If they can make it with all those unnecessary LEDs on the outer cover, why can't they illuminate the keypad like on the old V3 so that you can at least see the keys in poor light? The hinge between the two halves of the "flip" seems very flimsy, and I don't think it would take much to break it.
