  • Conclusion: The Motorola Flipside has a good QWERTY keyboard, but it needs better battery life and a newer version of the Android OS to be a leader.
  • Pros: Excellent QWERTY keyboard. Solid construction. Stellar voice quality.
  • Cons: So-so reception. Short battery life. Not the latest version of Android.

Motorola FLIPSIDE Review

Phone Arena
29 November 2010
  • Conclusion: No doubt that the Motorola FLIPSIDE is missing that wow factor as it follows accordingly to the model approach taken by almost every Android powered handset out there. Design wise, it's not striking as some of Motorola's previous ventures on AT&T's lineup; like the BACKFLIP and FLIPOUT . Aside from its slightly better keyboard over the Motorola DROID , there is just too much missing to make this one a stand out contender from the onset.
  • Pros: Usable physical keyboard, Peppy processing speed
  • Cons: Android 2.1, Below average battery life, Questionable construction

Motorola Flipside (AT&T)

CNET
12 February 2010
  • Summary: Despite its uninspired look and feel, the Motorola Flipside has a well-rounded feature set that balances a socializing agenda with corporate e-mail. That is, if you can look past the troublesome call quality.
  • Cons: It's heavy and bulky, and the Flipside's microSD card is inconveniently placed behind the back cover. The Android smartphone is hobbled by poor call quality.
