Summary: No Manual came with the phone, so went on line and got the manual. This phone does not match the manual, as many listed features are missing, as if the phone was an early prototype or something. I have pictures on the SIM card that I cannot download. Have tried everything the Motorola tech suggested. I have even ordered a Motorola cord as Tech suggested. Haven't received that yet. I have Mini SD card installed, but can not load to it.
Excerpt: This phone was chosen as an upgrade to a phone I already had. It was a free phone and I needed only a very basic phone. This phone is horrible! I am not happy with it at all. Even though it was free, I cannot wait to be able to upgrade again. The first major problem with the phone is that the latch on the back panel to the battery is so flimsy. I have dropped the phone only to have the very thin back panel open and spread the phone, battery and panel all over the place.
Excerpt: This phone is cheap and not in good quality. The good thing about it is the sound quality is not bad. But the radio has a lot of noise. You can barely get one or two signals. The worst thing is that the shell is plastic and breaks very easily. One hinge broke after only 2 month of use. I glued it back and half a year later it is no longer working. I have to admit that I drop the phones to the hard places sometime. But none of my previous phones broke into pieces.
Excerpt: This phone is my nemesis. After breaking my Razr I didn't have a choice in a cell phone, I didn't think I was going to like it, but I went in with high hopes. It didn't take long for them all to come crashing down. I live in a rural area, I rarely had problems with reception with my Razr. With the m330 I have to sit in the exact right spot in my house to keep reception, and forget about sending and receiving picture messages!
I would not buy this phone if it was the last one in the store

Excerpt: I was given this Phone free from AT&T as a promotional offer to add a new line to our family service. I had the phone less than 2 months when the Right corner below the screen when opened had cracked durring regular use of the phone. I ignored it since the phone could still be used and I did not bother to purchase the warranty since it is a waste of $ and you end up paying enough monthly to buy a whole new phone within months of the dues anyway. Not even a week later...
Excerpt: I have had this phone for about a month. At first I was frustrated by the way the buttons tend to malfunction frequently, and it takes close to forever to trype and send a text message, but I became willing to live with that. I do tend to give up on it sometimes, and just wait until I see somebody to tell them what I was going to text them. (It's surprising how many people tend to get offended if you don't text them back.
Hinge breaks easily; front screen unreadable in normal light.

Excerpt: Do not buy this phone, Motorola EM330. The hinge is made of thin cheap plastic and easily breaks. Many reports of this problem on the net; happened to my phone. Search "em330 broken hinge" to appreciate the scope of the problem. It is amazing that Motorola has such a poor design and that ATT sells it! The front screen is unreadable outdoors, even in the shade. The idea of a combined music player/phone is good, but the execution stinks.
Summary: I got this phone in September of 2009, and since then have had to have it replaced twice because the hinge starts to crack and then eventually breaks. I am very careful with my phone, I always know where it is and never drop it or anything. The first time it broke was about 3 months after I got it, and I went to the radio shack where I got it and they informed it has a manufacturers defect and they all do that. And three phones later he is right.
Summary: I have not had this phone any length of time. I am an adult user. I used it gentle as possible and it still broke at the hinge. I have had several RZR type flip phones never had one break. Motorola should be ashamed to put out a phone of this quality on the market. I bought a new phone on here which is a recycled material phone a w223 I believe and I hope it is a much better phone like the other motorolas I have had over the years ever since the brick and bag phone days...
Summary: Phone was in Great condition but her information about the phone having Push to Talk (PTT) was not correct. I tried to have this feature added on my phone plan and could not because it was not avaible on this phone. This is the only reason I wanted this phone for the PTT.
