The blackberry Pink pearl is an ok phone only not a great phone
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I recently upgraded to the blackberry pearl in pink. i am a customer of verizon wireless. This phone is very sleek and very cute. It is a great phone for talking and texting on. It soes not connect to the wb very good at all. It is very slow. Takes forever to upload the pages. It is not a good phone to recieve files or photos on. I had a large memory card in the phone. It will shut off automaticly if the memory gets full.
Summary: This phone is a dinosaur of a phone. It may be new ,but it is extremely outdated. The antennae is a pull out version not internal. I didn't realize phone was so outdated. It is a little deceiving to buy a new phone and it be so "old". I would not recommend this phone.
Not a great phone. Not Verizon but Altell. Problems
27 March 2010
Summary: After receiving the phone, I tried to activate with Verizon online. It gave me an error message. I tried *228 and got an error message telling me to contact Verizon. I called and spent 4 hours on the phone trying to get it activated. It was an Altell phone, not Verizon. 3 people refused to activate it. The fourth, an elevated tech support person, force activated it, and sent paperwork to Verizon to change this model from Altell to Verizon. I was pleased.
Summary: I have had one of these phones for many years. Once mine died I had to have another. The features and design work best for me. This phone I recently bought has issues. The Bluetooth feature does not fully work with EVERYTHING Bluetooth. There is an issue with reception on the original extendable antenna. I had to replace it at my own cost because I could get no signal even right next to the tower.
Summary: I had an ax5000 before and it didn't have all the bells & whisles that this phone has. The ax5000 had better ring tones and I had less trouble with it. The phone works fine, but sometimes I get dublicate addresses with out doing anything. I bought this phone to replace the ax5000 because the fron screen went blank had it for 4 years with no problems. The Motorola E815 was not worth the money.
Summary: I told my husband to get this phone because I had one just like it before. We have the same carrier but he would lose calls and not have reception at all. It was like this no matter where we went. He is so frustrated with it he's ready to go buy new one already.
