Excerpt: Worst phone i have ever owned. within the second week i had it the screen started locking up and it would have to be powered off and back on. Now that ive had it for a while, the keyboard never works, the screen locking up is beyond awful, and it won't charge. bought a new battery which did not help. It powers off randomly at 100% battery. It also will not charge on a computer, only a wall outlet. really, don't waste your money. This phone gives me intense migraines.
Summary: Great phone still going strong today though there have been advancements in cell phone technology since it's birth. Very capable of doing all a person really needs to do and has plenty of extras that we really don't need but want. I like the phone so much I bought a second one for my teenage daughter as her first smartphone and even she likes it.
Summary: you do not have to activate this phone via verizon or pay verizon for smart phone service. the phone comes programmed to use verizon "if you want it". there are several ways to bypass verizon all of which can be found on u-tube.(am talking about activation, not programming) the phone has text keyboard, but why use it when the phone comes with voice to text recognition built in. the dial features has about 100 apps on googleplay.
Moto Droid X2 can still hold up to today's smartphones. Great value!!!

Summary: This phone arrived in mint condition, as if it were brand new. There were no scratches or buff marks. When I turned it on it went straight into the new phone set up. Everything works great. The call quality is way better than what I was used to with my old flip phone and it really grabs the signal in weak areas. The screen responds super quick to touches and the display keyboard is big and looks just like my computer's.
Summary: Great screen clarity. The only problem is when I want to send a text, the phone is slow to react. I have to touch the keyboard several times before it ever appears on the screen. I would say it is the next best thing to an iPhone.
Excerpt: I loved this phone! It was great! The lack of numbers on the tops was the only annoying thing. I went to Droid 4 and its horrible... went back and got a Droid 3! AMAZING! I wish They would have left the Droid 3 alone!
Summary: There's no forward facing camera. There may be a short because sometimes it flashes through screens. It's great if you have the car dock and media center. The battery life is horrible. It has to be charged a few times a day so it's best to have a few of them. The screen is a good size. It doesn't get hot. It has a nice weight to it if you like metal phones. In comparison to the Droid Razr it loses, but compared to most other phones you can't beat it.
This phone is terrible, all the other reviews are wrong besides the negative ones!!!!!!

Excerpt: The droid x2 is by far the worst phone ever. The first month it was fine, but after that it was god awful. You cant download any more apps, music, e.t.c. I would rather have a flip phone from 1999! The phone always resets on me. I charge the phone all night and unplug it in the morning and go on an app and it dies right away... no warning at all! The camera is embarrising. The touchscreen does not even registrate that my finger is on the screen.
Great buy for the price!! Nice slim design and great signal reception!

Summary: I used this phone all the time! In my car I had it in my windshield mount so I loved the free turn by turn GPS Google Navigator. I used it through Duluth, Milwaukee, and Chicago many times. I got signal where others didn't. It worked great as a hotspot on trips for my daughter to use her ipod touch and my Asus tablet.
