Excerpt: Droid X is a cell phone manufactured by Motorola and carried by Verizon Wireless. It has an 8-Megapixel camera that shoots in 720p high definition and is a touch phone . This cell phone is terrific. I was able to pick it up and use it right away to browse the internet. The connection to the internet was excellent and it was relatively easy to search Google for information, although using your finger to type with a touch screen is a little strange, I liked it and I...
Summary: I got this phone on November 7, 2013 and I am now replacing it today April 13, 2014 (so seven months). The phone was great but since Feb. it's been acting slow freezing and what not. However I'm a very clumsy person the phone did not start acting up until I dropped it the screen did not break but it had little black spots on it two of the to be exact.

Summary: I needed a phone. I looked at their star rating and it was very good. Many many reviews on this company so I felt confident going in. I made the purchase on October 20th 2013 for a droid Verizon cell phone. I was fully aware that this was a refurbished phone. It came in a timely manner and looked great. I went into the Verizon store to get it all hooked up and was informed that it was broken.
Great phone, with great operating system and good display (but no 4G).

Summary: I used my Droid X for a couple years as my work phone. Great phone with great features. The only downside is that it is a 3G phone (no 4G version to my knowledge). After my company switched phones, I gave this phone to my 12 year-old son who uses it as a mini-tablet. It no longer has the phone service but he connects via Wifi to a hot spot and uses it for general Web surfing, games, music and the camera.
Summary: received the phone after a longer shipping time than stated and then the phone was used instead of new as stated on web site. then could only get the phone to turn on 3 times. even Verizon store could not get it to boot up!
Summary: I will admit that this is my first smartphone. After using the Droid X for a week I'm not sure what features newer phones offer to make it worth renewing a contract or forking over a few hundred dollars. The call quality is above average, texting takes some getting use to if you are accustomed to a physical keyboard. Internet browsing works well.
