Like all things Motorola, it is vastly overrated

Excerpt: Got this phone as a replacement for my last Motorola clunker, and it is only a slight improvement. First, as with all things Verizon, it is LOADED with bloatware. When I cut it on in the AM, sometimes it takes as long as 5 min to get my emails up because it is busy downloading updates for apps I neither asked for nor need. The processor is painfully slow.
Excerpt: I didn't have this phone long, maybe 4 months, before it started over heating and dying constantly... I thought it was supposed to have that extended life battery... when you spend this much on a phone you expect it to work longer. Plus I hate how when Verizon sends you a lemon, they replace it with a "refurbished" lemon. NOT IMPRESSED!
Excerpt: The only thing going for this phone is the battery. I can't believe with all the hype of Android being "open" how locked down this phone is. Locked down by Motorola and Verizon. Loaded with crapware and the horrible Motoblur interface slows the phone down and requires the huge battery. No wonder it crashes so often. The phone is uncomfortable to hold with an awkward and too-large shape and size. The pentile display is very pixelated and cheap looking.
Excerpt: It is ok, as good as any other similar phone on the market. I hate all the crap apps they preload and you are unable to delete. Will hardly last one day of use. No problems As good as any other phone. No problems, nothing special. Had to replace sim card less than a year. Pwr button sucks, very difficult to use.
Excerpt: I recently upgraded from a motorola razor standard cell phone to the motorola DROID RAZR. Within minutes of learning to use it, while still in the verizon store, I had an emotional break down. Im 61 and my advice to anyone my age is to keep it simple. This phone has way to much. The verizon salelady told me to give it a couple months and I would love my phone, well its been 2 months and I still DO NOT like my phone.
Excerpt: I have have my Razr for almost a year now and it's still going strong. Although, there are quite a few annoying glitches now and again - such as- the touch screen not working and/or spazzing out opening all kinds of apps and things you weren't even touching. My sound turns itself onto vibrate occasionally too and that's annoying. I wouldn't say this is a terrible phone, as it has never dropped calls or broken on me, but it does have its flaws!
