Summary: This phone is very slow and glitchy. It takes literally 3 mins to open anything when data is turned on. And it takes longer than a minute to open things when data is turned off. Also this phone freezes, crashes, and sometimes doesnt do anything but revert back to the home screen even though I am clicking on an app. At first I just figured that because it is an older phone it would be slow.
Summary: I really wanted to like this phone. The screen is just the right size, it doesn't crack and the battery lasts forever. That said, it has consistently been the jankiest phone I've ever owned. Worse than a Blackberry. I feel confident in stating this because I've had to cash in on the insurance 3 times in one year, each time getting a new phone that within month became riddled in glitches.
Summary: The phone arrived on time but the battery hardly lasts at all. This is very disappointing since I purchased this model specifically for the long battery life. Additionally, I frequently have trouble getting the phone to charge. I have to plug it in repeatedly and place the phone "just so" before it'll consistently take a charge. I'm not happy.
Summary: I'm not a "techie" and I don't care for "bells and whistles". The reason I bought this was to try to be current (technology wise) for my business, and I wanted a larger screen, without having to drag a tablet around.
Pros: What everybody else says...
Cons: Google/Gmail Proprietary, No "Profiles" for alert, phone and email tone settings., Keyboard "keys" too small for guys with BIG hands.
Excerpt: 2 died in a months time. Verizon sent me this phone after good reviews to them. However, the dumb thing died after four days to me, and the second one died after three days in my humble arms. I will never be satisified after that without an apology from Motorola. and a thank you from Verizon for my patience and perseverance.
Pros: all good while working
Cons: only worked for four days at a time (both phones)
Excerpt: My wife and i have had 7 of these phones in the 14 day window. they keep locking up with a black screen ! verizon is now telling me it is a problem to take up with Motorola! Motorola is telling me that the brand new phone needs to be sent in for repair!!!! 700$ three weeks ago and a number of phones later I'm not happy. Motorola knows this is a problem because they tried to fix with the software update in early Feb.
