Excerpt: I'm an extremely heavy business user that has become accustomed to charging my phone every chance I get so it will get through the day. With the Razr Maxx it hits the charger only once a day when I go to sleep at night; that's it and usually it's still around 30%+ at that time.
I've owned upwards of 20+ smartphones in the last 8+ years since smartphones moved into the realm of "useable".
Excerpt: I've had this device for 2 months now and absolutely love it. My recent devices include the Samsung Galaxy Nexus , Rezound , Bionic, Droid X2 and Droid X (on VZW), EVO, EVO 3D and Phonton (Sprint). I carry an iphone 4s for work Razr a few and loved the screen, HOWEVER it software does allow you to grow with the device
Here's my breakdown:
-Screen in crisp and a pleasure to look at. Colors are true and text is amazingly clear.
Excerpt: I bought this verizon phone for my wife. So, I don't use it day and day out.
So, here goes. The android interface that moto designed is way cool. Very intuitive. Very light weight. Big screen.
Phone audio in and out is very good. She calls me on speaker phone mode with it on her lap while she drives. Sounds very good to her and I. Noise canceling appears to be very effective. I can tell she is in the car but not like other phones in the past. Much less on speaker!!
Excerpt: 2 died in a months time. Verizon sent me this phone after good reviews to them. However, the dumb thing died after four days to me, and the second one died after three days in my humble arms. I will never be satisified after that without an apology from Motorola. and a thank you from Verizon for my patience and perseverance.
Excerpt: I cannot believe I thought of getting any other phone. The RAZR MAXX has improved on all that I loved about the original RAZR and Droid, and brought in so many more innovations. Other phones may rival it's build quality, design, speed, and performance, but I believe Motorola has set a new standard awfully high as far as battery capacity goes without hindering physical design much.
Excerpt: Best phone on the market! I work with phones everyday and this one is the best. The size is a bit much but its something thats overcomable when you use the features the camera the awesome battery and display.
Excerpt: I have been using the RAZR MAXX for one month with Verizon in the greater Phoenix area. The phone and service have exceeded my expectations.
1. No connection problems or dropped calls.
2. Excellent voice quality.
3. Very fast data downloads.
4. Phone operation is fast and smooth.
5. Web performance makes this phone fun to use.
Excerpt: I have had this phone going on 2 weeks now. First of all, I am very very happy with this phone. I have owned multiple droid based phones and this one tops the cake. The most recent phone I had was the Samsung Epic 4g(non-Touch) and so far this phone out does it on everything except for the screen quality. Granted the epic has, IMO, the best screen on the market. It is not disappointing however.
Excerpt: UPDATE: I've dropped this phone to the asphalt or concrete from waist height SIX TIMES since purchase and it's working GREAT, face down because the paint is chipped all around the bezel, many more times indoors, glass perfect.
I upgraded to this 3 months after I upgraded to a Droid 3 to which I added a 3500mah battery. Being an old school keyboarder, I was worried about the accuracy of Swype, but a side-by-side comparo of 3G with 4GLTE pushed me over the edge.
Excerpt: This is my first review. I had to sign up to express my pleasure with the Razr Maxx. I have had the Razr Maxx for about a week. I have to say this is the very best phone I have ever owned. I have had numerous phones since my first Startac.
I have been nothing but impressed since I first opened the box. After I powered up the phone the battery was at 55%.
