Get an iphone, boycott droids! They are getting worse!
1 December 2012
Summary: Worst phone I've ever owned. I've stuck with motorola for YEARS but now I'm done. I'm getting an iphone next time. This phone is worse than the last droid I had, the Droid 2. They did away with the slide out keyboard! I can deal with it, fine, but the swype is crappy, HORRIBLE at predicting words. I have to add almost every other word to its dictionary because it doesn't know any words! What a joke!
Pros: Comfortable, rugged, battery life starts off good, lasted me 2-3 days initially. Now, It's about dead at the end of the day for medium use such as calls and checking email. Forget about using gps for more than 40-50 minutes, it'll die rather quickly.
Cons: SLOW, VERY SLOW, LAGS BIG TIME, CAMERA has annoying fixed zoom., Gets horrible reception, the background screen design is crap, you have to tailor a picture to get it to fit or else it looks like crap., Battery doesn't last long after a few weeks.
BEST SMARTPHONE EVER OUT OF 6 SMARTPHONES I'VE OWNED
26 November 2012
Summary: I have owned and used 6 smartphones including this one , and the Razr Maxx is by far the best smartphone I've used. My other phones I've used include iPhone 4, Droid Incredible, HTC EVO, LG OPTIMUS ELITE, and Droid Razr.
Pros: NOW HAS ANDROID 4.0.4 ICE CREAM SANDWICH, EXCELLENT BATTERY, BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY AND SCREEN SIZE, ZIPPY PROCESSOR, nice, solid feel, great call quality and speakerphone
Excerpt: I switched to the RAZR MAXX from my DROID 4 because the battery life was too short and the screen was too small. I'm a heavy user and I get about twice the battery life on the MAXX. So if you're the kind of person that hates running out of battery this is this phone for you.
The RAZR MAXX is my choice and a top pick for me too!!

Summary: The battery life and performance on Verizon 4G has been fantastic!!
Pros: - Battery life, - Large, bright screen., - Expandable storage, - Battery life, - 4G support long before the iDevices, - now with Ice Cream Sandwich! even better UI and features, - Battery life, - Smart Actions, - Good call quality and Verizon's 4G coverage
Cons: - I wish it shipped with headphones/mic like the iDevices
Summary: I've had this phone for about 4 months now (upgraded from a Blackberry Tour), and I must say, the functionality is incredible.
Pros: + Battery 3-hour phone calls for work and other high-demand applications with no problems, + Customizable 5 home screens, + Photos taken outside are incredible. Indoor photos not so much, + Unit feels solid and robust
Cons: - The screen burn-in and camera quality are my only complaints
