Excerpt: Before the Razr Maxx, I had the original Motorola Droid which I liked until too many apps starting making it super slow. So my husband and I purchased the Razr Maxx. I like that the battery was made to last longer than most phones before charging and it has lived up to it. I can play a bunch of games on my phone, text, talk on the phone and still have a little charge at the end of the day. The display is sharp and a great size.
Excerpt: When i upgaded to my new smartphone samsung stratosphere, i thought cool but it had major problems with battery overheating. they replace it, still the same issue. Finally i got them to replace it with a motorola droid razr. no problems at all. If you have a motorola for the first one , stay with motorola when you upgrade. better quality , better everything, great better screen already better than the samsung.
Very user-friendly, considering my smartphone inexperience

Excerpt: I've owned the Droid Razr Maxx for about 3 months now, and I really, really love it. I can't really compare it to other smartphones as I have never owned one before, but I enjoy all the apps I can find for free, the way I can check email and text and facebook so easily, and the fact that it has room for a removable storage. I also use it with the Bluetooth in my car, and the sound quality is SO MUCH BETTER than my previous phone.
Excerpt: I'm a little late jumping on the smart phone bandwagon, but I finally did and love this guy. If you have basic computer skills, you can easily use this phone. I've had mine for about a year now and at times I wonder why I waited so long to get a smartphone. This phone is very high quality and extremely durable. About 5 months after I got it, I fell while running. It was a hard enough fall that it cracked the screen (it was in my pocket screen out).
Excerpt: I am anti-iphone, and had a hard time choosing my first smartphone. I am very glad that I chose a razr, am very pleased with it. Several people have commented on the size of it, but I really don't think its that much bigger than most other smartphones. While the screen and overall size may be bigger, I think its slimmer than others. It definitely doesn't fit in my pants pocket or anything, but I don't mind having to put it elsewhere.
Excerpt: I recently upgraded from a motorola razor standard cell phone to the motorola DROID RAZR. Within minutes of learning to use it, while still in the verizon store, I had an emotional break down. Im 61 and my advice to anyone my age is to keep it simple. This phone has way to much. The verizon salelady told me to give it a couple months and I would love my phone, well its been 2 months and I still DO NOT like my phone.
Excerpt: I love my droid. I wish some of the features followed from the droid x like the instant dialing. Now you have to push twice in order to call people from the home screen but thats ok. This battery is a champ. Amazing quality screen. Videos and photos displayed are great.
Excerpt: I was having a lot of problems with my phones, so Verizon kept sending me replacements. They finally sent the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx and I have had no problems with it. The best thing about this phone is how long the battery lasts. It lasts about twice as long as a regular smart phone, sometimes lasting me the whole day. The screen is a great size, and it is a durable phone. The phone is made of better material than most smartphones. The screen is gorilla glass.
Excerpt: This phone is the bestphone I've seen including I phone 5. Sure other phones may be a little faster but this phone is plenty fast. And when taking into consideration the super long batter life it is a trade of I'm willing to make. I only charge my phone every other day while other people are charging several times a day. And the super amoled screen is big, it's scratch resistant and the colors are amazingly brilliant.
Excerpt: I have have my Razr for almost a year now and it's still going strong. Although, there are quite a few annoying glitches now and again - such as- the touch screen not working and/or spazzing out opening all kinds of apps and things you weren't even touching. My sound turns itself onto vibrate occasionally too and that's annoying. I wouldn't say this is a terrible phone, as it has never dropped calls or broken on me, but it does have its flaws!
