Excerpt: Razr Maxx is a great phone. My old phone was the droid x2 a excellent phone nothing really wrong with it but its was old slow 3g. I wanted a upgrade to a 4g phone and in the middle of my contract so no verzion discount . So I found a factory refurbished on Ebay for a great price. The phone was in brand new shape and all I could say is WOW! The 4g even at 3 bars signal strength is almost double the speed of my home DSL LOL!!!!
Excerpt: I switched from the Galaxy Nexus that was nothing but a headache to me and have never looked back. Let me compare the Nexus to the Razr Maxx and show the things I love about this phone:
Maxx - All day, Nexus - 1/4 of a day if lucky
Maxx - Superior clarity and volume, Nexus - Soft & garbled.
Excerpt: I purchased this phone 5/25/12. All I can say so far is I love this phone. I stream pandora (unlimited data plan) over bluetooth in my car at least 6 hours a day. The battery life is outstanding. It should be a requirement in every 4G LTE smartphone that is made nowadays. I used to have the Galaxy Nexus prior to this phone, and while it was the "latest and greatest" I would have to constantly keep it on the car charger. I could not make it a full day on the battery.
Excerpt: Number one issue with smart phone users is battery life this phone is a 10 on battery life. Have the phone for 10 days love it easy to use, great screen, great reception, fast, made well, good camera, GREAT BATTERY. I do not agree with many of the reviews on this phone it works great and Motorola did a great job.
Excerpt: I would have given this phone a 5, but there's always room for improvement. I purchased it at full retail (nearly $700) about 2 months ago, and have not had one moment of regret. I have not had to charge this phone during the day since I got it, and I use it a lot for all sorts of things. Works fabulous with Netflix and HDMI to TV. Fortunately I am grandfathered into unlimited data.
Excerpt: I’m probably more of an Iphone person, but I’m enamored by the Razr MAXX! It’s thin, sleek design is very eye-catching. To me it’s a perfect device for someone that’s looking for a somewhat small phone, with amazing graphics.
Excerpt: To me, this is the perfect phone. People will argue about specs and processor speed, but what really matters is real world usability. Sure, some chips are faster, and some cameras are better, but the reality of the matter is that you're watching your video on a 4" screen. How Hi-Def is that? Who actually watches anything other than a You Tube video or two on their phone? Does it really matter if your internet loads in 1 millisecond faster in a test environment?
Pros: The ONLY phone with enough battery to last a FULL day, Excellent build quality, MAP far less intrusive than other skins, Moto Ecosystem - Lapdock, Desk & CarDocks, Smart Actions, Soon to be Global Phone, Water resistant
Cons: A little large., Too long to wait for ICS, Should have been introduced alongside RAZR
Excerpt: Our house is split. One Apple fan one Droid fan! I am the DROID fan:-) I say it's reliable because I have everything in it.. contacts, all of my reward cards ( which I use to redeem coupons with also, bonus) my home schooling information, and directions to anywhere! All dto music. Make calls, video chat, record a seminar i am attending and use the timer for cooking and time outs and relay races :-) If you would have told me I could do all this wth one skinny little...
Excerpt: This was my first SmartPhone and I love it! It is easy to use. I love the camera and video recorder. I don't always have access to my computer, but love that my phone does all the things that I need to do on my computer. The phone is very durable. My kids play with it and I don't worry about it being dropped. I am absolutely in love with my droid.
Excerpt: I've had the RAZR MAXX for 8 months now and I'm still extremely happy with it. The battery life is insane, I've run it on moderate use for 3 full days and I never turned off 4g! If you were actually trying I could see people getting 4-5 days on a single charge. I still am not sure why people complain about the display, it looks fine to me, I don't stare at it from 3 inches away like others I guess.
