The RAZR MAXX is my choice and a top pick for me too!!
17 October 2012
Summary: The battery life and performance on Verizon 4G has been fantastic!!
Pros: - Battery life, - Large, bright screen., - Expandable storage, - Battery life, - 4G support long before the iDevices, - now with Ice Cream Sandwich! even better UI and features, - Battery life, - Smart Actions, - Good call quality and Verizon's 4G coverage
Cons: - I wish it shipped with headphones/mic like the iDevices
Summary: I've had this phone for about 4 months now (upgraded from a Blackberry Tour), and I must say, the functionality is incredible. Let's start off with some of the basic concerns:
Pros: + Battery 3-hour phone calls for work and other high-demand applications with no problems, + Customizable 5 home screens, + Photos taken outside are incredible. Indoor photos not so much, + Unit feels solid and robust
Cons: - The screen burn-in and camera quality are my only complaints
GREAT battery life and very good specs, features and root friendly too!

Excerpt: A phone with good specs and a battery that can go all day on a single charge. Lots of features to use software and hardware wise. Root friendly and lots of ROMs to choose from. Features that made this the choice for me was it was the only phone with a battery that can last all day, Gorilla Glass,...
Pros: *Battery life* 21.5 Hours Talk Time!!!!, *Waterproof coating on inside of phone *Standard, Gorilla Glass, HDMI out, Materials and durabilty, 4G LTE, Motorola Smart Actions App, Look, size, and finish, Micro SD slot, 4G Tethering
Excerpt: The only thing going for this phone is the battery. I can't believe with all the hype of Android being "open" how locked down this phone is. Locked down by Motorola and Verizon. Loaded with crapware and the horrible Motoblur interface slows the phone down and requires the huge battery.
Pros: Long battery life, Good reception
Cons: Locked down closed OS, Horrible display, Poor camera, Non-removable battery, uncomfortable to hold, Crapware, Unstable - crashes a lot, Motoblur
Summary: I just picked mine up this week, and it is finally a steal! Battery life so long you do not even have to think about it. My wife has the iphone, and every time I discover a new feature she is impressed.
Pros: Battery life, Smart Actions, respond to a call with a text without typing, and did I mention the battery? Wow.
Cons: The camera isn't as fast as others, but really, I didn't buy it for the camera.
Excerpt: I switched from the Galaxy Nexus that was nothing but a headache to me and have never looked back. Let me compare the Nexus to the Razr Maxx and show the things I love about this phone: Battery Life Maxx - All day, Nexus - 1/4 of a day if lucky Call Quality Maxx - Superior clarity and volume, Nexus...
Excerpt: great 4G phone with amazing battery. display is also great (not sure why the hype about HD resolution - I cannot tell the difference side-by-side between the S3 and this phone - I even think the iPhone screen with its "retina" display looks somewhat washed out compared to this phone)
Pros: battery and most everything except the camera
