Summary: I was 3 months away from my upgrade and my Stratosphere kept crapping out on me. I didn't want to wait and every time Verizon sent me a new Stratosphere it would work fine for a few days and then it would crap out. I didn't want the HD version of this phone so I decided to try Amazon.
Summary: I really wanted to like this phone. The screen is just the right size, it doesn't crack and the battery lasts forever. That said, it has consistently been the jankiest phone I've ever owned. Worse than a Blackberry.
Excerpt: Great phone, well built, light weight, fast on LTE & WiFi. It's Android, so anything you wish it did you can download from the market. With the JellyBean update, bloatware isn't an issue. Phone can get a little hot while inside the windshield mount, but that's to be expected.
Excerpt: When I switched from Sprint Motorola Photon Q to Verizon, I expected to get the Motorola Droid 4 (comparable device). My friend pointed out the RAZR MAXX and I went to PhoneArena.com to research. Ever since I've had this phone in my hands, I've loved it.
Pros: Great battery, Durable, HDMI output, Charging port at the top of the phone., Loud speakers
Cons: Under certain conditions, can see black artifacts on the screen (low light playing a dark video), Camera is a little slow sometimes
Summary: Best DROID I've had to date. Battery has to be charged every couple of days with medium use....way better then my S2. Nice camera and video. Big screen, but not too big. Makes it easy to read screen. Easy to navigate I would reccommend the Razr MAXX for anyone
Summary: If you google "I hate my Razr Maxx" you'll get an earfull about how badly JB 4.1.2 screwed these phones up, about screens that crack for no apparent reason, on and on. I wish I had read user reports before relying on CNET reports.
Pros: You can make telephone calls on it. Other than that, it's rather useless.
Cons: The operating system, Jelly Bean 4.1.2 is terrible! It came out on March 23, 2013. Read comments entered only after that date to get the real story.
Excerpt: I got this phone in Mexico a month ago and I'm very satisfied. It's not as expensive as I thought and it combines the best of every smartphone: long battery life, big screen, great camera, microSD capable, etc. Totally worth it.
Pros: Awesome battery life, microSD slot, Splash resistant and very durable, HDMI output, Very good reception
Cons: Haven't received Jelly bean update, Not the best screen resolution, The keyboard is not as responsive as I wish. It freezes sometimes
