Upgraded from older smartphone

  • Summary: I just got this & have only had a few days to test it out. Here's my observations so far: the battery gets really hot after a few hours of use when plugged into car charger, battery life is good for the most part (if using multiple apps @ once-it drains somewhat quickly) but is still better than my old phone (LG Lucid). The sound clarity is really clear. The screen/display is nice & crisp.

  • Summary: I had reception trouble with my Samsung Galaxy S3 and the new S3 covered under verizon warranty so I bought a Razor M while waiting for verizon to send me a S4 for replacment of my S3 since I heard reveiws of Motorola having better reception. I run my mom around since she can no longer drive to all her appointments such as various doctors and hairdressing appointments and use my cellphone to occupy myself watching netflix.

I'm Impressed

Austin, Amazon
30 December 2013
  • Summary: I've had the Droid Razr M for around a year and it's still kicking strong enough to hold up to my cousin's new GS3. Pro's-great screen size while still maintaining a compact size and a decent weight (I like a bit more weight to show durability); the on-screen buttons keep the phone looking beautiful while off; the camera isn't fancy enough for pro photography but it is good enough for family events or landscape scenes; durability is unmatched with a Kevlar back, the...

I like it.

  • Summary: I have had my corporate-issued Motorola Razr M for most of this year and for the most part I really like it. Verizon 4G coverage in my neighborhood is pretty minimal (2 bars at best) and yet I can make and take calls easily. Even video is continuous and clear (if I get closer to the windows). I like the form factor, weight, screen size and resolution and especially image clarity. Photos and video are very good. I don't have a case and instead just throw it in my pocket.

Excellent hardware, so-so software

  • Excerpt: I've had this phone for a few months. VZW sent me this to replace my Incredible 4G that was a lemon, which has/had almost identical specs. So it's hard for me not to compare the two. The Motorola's hardware is hands down excellent, with a sturdy solid build. As a phone, I've had no issues with reception or call clarity - it's what a phone should be. And the overall form factor is perfect - not too big, not too small - for those of us who don't want a phablet.
  • Pros: Solid build, Battery life, Form factor
  • Cons: Camera, Motoblur UI/skin
