13 October 2013
Summary: CANNOT BE USED ON PRE PAID BASIC 100$ A YEAR LIKE MU CURENT VERIZON ANALOG CELL PHONE. THIS DROID MUST BE ON A 30# MINIMUM PRE PAID PLAN, NOT GOOD AT ALL LEAVE IT TO VERIZON TO TRY TO RIP PEOPLES OFF AS USUAL. NOTHING NEW HERE JUST THE USUAL FOR VERIZON. SO IN OTHER WORD THEY WANT TRIPLE THE AMOUNT. MY OLD CELL AS NO REPLACEMENT BATTERIES ON THE MARKET ANYMORE. GOOD THING OTHER COMPANY OFFER DECENT PRE PAID SERVICES. THANKS FOR NOTHING VERIZON.
Summary: this phone is straight crap. i bought it back when it first came out, which was a month before the razr came out... so motorola screwed me along with others... but i loved this phone up until about 3 weeks ago when it started to suck... i got pretty good battery life with the extended battery before when it could last me 2 days easy. now, when i charge it at night from about 40 percent battery life it only gets up to about 70 percent IN 8 HOURS OF CHARGING!!!
Summary: The Specs for the phone are inacurate. One would say MADE-UP. Others would say Fake. The droid Bionic is a locked phone. Locked bootloader and Carrier Locked. It is a CDMA phone. Even if the GSM aspect is unlocked, it only does data not Calls. The GSM band is for 4G DATA only. The Processor is a TI OMAP4 not an NVIDIA. The bionic is a great phone, but if you buy it based on these specs then you will be disappointed since these specs are wrong.
Cons: Phone drops 4g and 3g connections constantly. Difficult to force this phone to connect to the data connection. My original Droid is more stable than the Bionic. Out of the box the SIM card and battery were defective. Verizon support...don't bother
Cons: I live in Iowa and it insists that I am outside the US! It says that I can only make emergency calls. We have been with Verizon for years, and have had no problems with our other phones even currently. Returning it tomorrow!
Excerpt: I agree with secsis - I don't understand why the 3G and 4G data capability 'cut out constantly even when the phone has full reception and is sitting still'. I've had the SIM card replaced, have had the handset replaced, and have gone through several sessions with customer and Tech support. I also haven't had this happen on other phones including other LTE phones: Samsung Charge and LG Revolution.
Pros: Wow? Pro's Uhhh? how many characters is that?
Cons: Phone hangs constantly. It will not transition from 4G to 3G without rebooting the phone. The call quality is tinny and abysmal. Half of the apps hang the phone up. The power button is in an awkward spot. The camera is horrendous.
