Excerpt: The biggest issue with this phone is the horrid version of MotoBlur that it is running plus the bloatware that Verizon shoved on the phone and won't let you uninstall. The phone is constantly running out of memory and it takes over 30 seconds to decide that you did indeed push the call button.
Excerpt: The phone started great but the longer I owned it the worse and worse it became. Apparently it's a problem for many motorola phones, the UI becomes more and more sluggish until it's so slow that you have to power cycle the phone. That, unfortunately, is required every 12 to 48 hours.
fast, easy to use phone but yet poor battery life.

Summary: phone works great, it fast and i like the fact that comes with a physical keyboard, camera is great for a phone. the only bad thing is battery life, if you don use it on battery safe mode and turn off all your WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, GSN, Global capabilities, syncs etc... you are going to have a 2 to 4 hour battery life spam. one thing you can do is change to an extended battery but it may look kind of bulky.
Good phone but too simple & too boring, decent look & mediocre interface

Summary: Too Simple, too boring. Not a fan of the motorola interface on it. It's not eye candy and has one confusing option called "Vibrate only when in silent mode" pretty much it's not simple to put it on silent because it can be on silent and still vibrate. However, the battery life is good, music feature is good but comes with a too boring music app. Keyboard don't slide fast, you have to pretty much push all the way out and its not really great for people with big thumbs.
Pros: Fairly clear sound, and great pull out keyboard. Has held up to more than it's fair share of falls.
Cons: GPS works IF it's in the mood Won't sync with Mac OR PC/Outlook. Clearly designed as an interim product: in Motorola, there is no Droid 3 forum. They lump it in with "other devices." Not as intuitive as it should/needs to be. Help is not very easy.
Middle-of-the-pack phone - not as groundbreaking as the original Droid.

Summary: The User Interface (Moto Blur) is very clunky and ugly. There is no option to get the phone back to "stock" Android. Potential buyers should definitely go use this phone in a Verizon store before buying on Ebay. It is very large and could be unwieldy for some users. The advantage this phone has over others is the physical keyboard with very easy to use buttons.
Excerpt: Its defiantly a good phone but not the best, the little things are great, but where it counts is slacking... After extensive use it is not impressive. When did it seem like a good idea to only put 512 RAM in a dual-core phone with lots of crap being forced to run in the background?
Excerpt: I have had this phone for 2 years. It is ok and suits its purpose. The texting feature is good. Internet is hit or miss for speed. Definitely think I would try the iphone next before I purchased another droid! Poor battery life. It is very easy to use. Camera is not very good. But if you like games, the apps feature is nice!
