Pros: Got the phone as an upgrade for $30 from Newegg. Exterior is sturdy and durable. Dropped several times in the last 2 years since upgrade. Easy to assemble/disassemble and access to SIM card and SD card.
Cons: Sluggish often. Ran 2 apps at one time and phone responds very slowly. Sometimes freezes up and I have to pull the battery out in order to reboot/restart my phone. Battery dies within a 8-10 hour period even while I have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS off. Dies within a 4 hour period if any of these are activated or running.
Summary: The phone is good but the battery life really sucks, my old phone would last me three days without charge, but this phone barely lasts me a day. Sometimes the phone freezes and I have take the battery off. The wifi sometimes doesn't scan properly. Sometimes when i try to open my gallery my photos don't show up, also i thought this phone had a front-faced camera. I bought this because it was cheap.
Summary: Nice phone but I have had nothing but problems with this phones ear piece. It has gone out on me 2 times in the past year and they refuse to fix it for the second time in a year. I read up on it and it sounds like a common problem for this particular phone. Its to bad motorola doesn't stand behind their product. If you pay this much for a phone they should make sure they work out the bugs and they should also fix their products at no charge.

Pros: Rugged design, lightweight, good size. The screen is just large enough to be useful. The light weight means you can drop it w little harm. Fits perfectly in my pocket, much less bulky than iPhone or orthers.
Cons: I've replaced this phone twice so far in 9 months because the "listening end" suddenly stopped working, forcing me to use a headset or speakerphone for it to function. The newest phones shipped have Android 2.2. Motoblur is driving me NUTS! Sometimes my
Cons: camera poor, the screen did scratch quite easily, the earpiece gave up pretty fast - so far new one holding out but sounds a bit crackly from time to time - some have doubts if problem can be fixed but so far so good after a month and a half
Cons: This is actually the 2nd Defy I've owned. The first one had problems with the video so they exchanged it at the store. However, this one is CONSTANTLY freezing up when I browse through my contact list & it won't let me even make phone calls sometimes
Summary: I first noticed this phone when I occasionally caught the advert on t.v, I then decided to look for a new phone for my upgrade and when i saw i could get a better deal and this phone for half my contract at the time, i took the offer. i was drawn to it because of its apparent capabilities (life proof), I thought this would be perfect for me as my previous phone was a mess after 18 months.
Pros: Does live up to some of the life proof boasts
Cons: Bad battery life and crashes a lot, also rubber protectors come off easily.
