Summary: LOVE this phone! I am on my second one.... first one I gave to my daughter when hers broke. Will buy it again. I love the screen and the social networking windows constantly showing me streaming updates. BETTER than an iPhone because I personally do not want to type on a touch screen. I like having the option to slide down an easy to work and use keypad. The camera is of better quality than an iPhone also. Have had mine for over two years without any problems.
Summary: I bought this phone so I wouldn't be locked into a contract when I switched my cell service provider. The phone is great, haven't had any issues. The screen is just the right size at 3.7" and having the physical keyboard makes it much easier when typing. Also, having the 1Ghz processor makes a big difference when multitasking on it.
Summary: love it. its the best hastle free smartphone out. simple yet top of the food chain as for cell/smatphones go.the phone is awesome i think this phone has No comparison counterparts.basically whatever you'd like for it to do (DROID DOES)!!! the options and features of this phone are off the charts when it comes to a sleek, stylish, touchscreen. This high-end CDMA smartphone is notable for its large, high-res touch display and thin body with slide-out keyboard.
Summary: Key board is great, I find myself hitting the correct key in doubt. The screen is nice, bright and responsive. The new hardware has really increased the productivity in loading apps and playing movies. Hooked it up to a moto s305 headset, nothing short of perfection, up to 33 feet of signal. I had the original droid and find the upgrade a positive gain if the device can be found for a cheap price.
Summary: Im buy this phone for a few my friends and by one for self. This is the best model at this time with GSM and QWERTY. Im work with phone and write this review from motorola backflip and i love this format ;)
Summary: Bought this phone to flash to metro pcs. got phone brand new took about 2 hour to root it, add the esn to metro's database and add new apn to phone now it works great with metro. all functions work, all feature, phone is fast as can be and best yet it only costs me $35 a month for unlimited talk, text, mms, gps, net, data, tethering, email, android market and so much more. so far the best cell phone i've ever owned.
Summary: For what you can but this for on E-Bay in mint condition this phone is an excellent value. The camera is 5MP and though it lacks a flash, the auto-focus and great quality sensor shines. The QWERTY keyboard is durable and the overall feel of the phone is very sturdy. Capacitive screen and Android 2.1 O/S make this one a keeper!! Highly reccommended!!
Summary: I am a cellphone junkie. I am constantly getting new phones. Before I got this phone, I had a nice touch-screen only phone, but to text, which I do a lot of seemed like such a pain that most of the time I just wouldn't respond. This phone satisfies me! The Android operating system has pulled me onto their side and away from Apple.
Summary: My primary reason for deciding on the Droid 2 (vs. iphone 4) is the slide out keyboard. I'm really not into typing entire e-mails on my screen (although the "swipe" feature is cool). And as juvenile as it sounds, I really like the way it calls out in its robotic voice..."Droid!" I am impressed beyond my expectations regarding the Droid 2! It amazes me how intuitive it is, it's almost like it knows what I want to do next and is right there for me.
Summary: Very happy with this acquisition, it's hard to even call it a "phone" when it is practically a full-fledged supercomputer in my pocket :) Good-quality camera, very responsive interface with a nice set of additional Motorola widgets for consolidated messaging and social networking. If you're considering an Android phone, the Droid 2 or its successor the Droid 2 Global are you best bets in my book!
