Excerpt: Number pad is good. Feels good and is laid out well. battery sucked, but extended capacity battery lives long. same VZW GUI, which i don't like. But it has Motorola intelligent texting. camera needs auto focus and flash. SPeaker is nice and loud. And I've taken hundreds of underwater pics in the pool.
Pros: Good weather resistant rugged phone. I have only had this a few days and can't add much to what others have said.
Cons: I have been unable to stop or remove Verizon's Backup Assistant. Other Version phones have a options menu that allows you to stop and then remove Backup Assistant, this phone does not. It cannot be removed with FLASHING it or RESTORE.
Pros: Extremely rugged construction, yes - it is waterproof, shock resistant, good call quality, decent camera, good price, when charged correctly, the battery lasts a long time (10-14 days), however the battery does not respond well to short or quick charging.
Cons: Buttons are harder to press than most phones, music player requires a Rhapsody account, bulky, cover flips shut too easily when answering calls, lack of an integrated belt clip.
Excerpt: Good for moderately rough use. Has a nice rubberized grip around the edge. Tip: an SD card is optional; but if you do add an SD card it will use a lot of battery power. Tip: before, during, and especially after locking the battery cover, the cover must be pressed down all around the edges to get the gasket to seal. Tip: download the app to backup your contacts online.
