The Motorola Atrix 2 is a good smartphone for new phone users.

Summary: Bought this smartphone for my granddaughter, who moved out of state to a really small community. She is a latch key child and we wanted to keep in touch with her. The phone seems to work great when her local phone service isn't over loaded. We text and Skype with her. Her phone is doing a great job of video and audio.
Summary: Other than the battery life, it's a good phone. Good Talk quality, etc. My Atrix stopped working after two years, and I wanted an unlocked phone to activate on Straight Talk, but not to spend a boatload of money. Maybe its the updated OS, but battery life is 1/2 of the Atrix, and to my experience, the Atrix was just as fast connecting to internet, etc. Going to try to see if it is an app issue or if there is a software fix so battery lasts longer.
Very Good Product. I did not expect this to be that cheap.

Summary: This is my first smartphone. I've found this is an excellent phone and you would like to use or give gift to your friends. However, the battery does not last long which is the problem for almost all multimedia phones. Other than that this phone has great features.
Reliable phone with the features I need, at a reasonable price.

Summary: This phone is a replacement for mine, which went into the sink. Good phone for a good price. Nice size, light weight, good size screen, camera takes great pictures. Mainly use phone for calling, texting, camera, GPS, and browsing. Not big into games or videos. I travel for work and I have gotten good reception, even in the mountains. The battery life is average, I have not been able to find a phone with an exceptional battery life.
Only regret is the lack of interest of Motorola to upgrade to jellybean
8 June 2013
Summary: I love the phone...it does a lot as expected....I was not expecting it to be upgraded to ICS yet though...there are some limitations it seems with running certain software due to the Android version...a disappointment is that Motorola seems to have stopped their support for the phone with their trade-in in the US...they also don't intend to update it to jellybean which I believe will open the possibilities of this phone even more..
Excerpt: Well did not make til my next contract renewal. The phone is great when it is working, but touch screen (digitizer) is too fragile, once every nine months it goes out. First time under warranty, and then I decided to replace it myself the second. I have experience repairing laptops, and other smartphone, like the iPhone. Big mistake, when I called AT&T store about parts they told me to call the manufacturer or I could buy the part on Ebay.
Summary: Pretty good phone. Easy switch for me from blackberry. Upgrade to ICS is a must for better feature and interface. The camera though is of good resolution, lacks the speed that I would have expected. Rather disappointing for a 8MP camera The Lap dock is a good feature.
