Summary: This phone is slow, there's a delay in response to the buttons I push. Sometimes it won't open quick enough to answer a call. I only have a few apps downloaded so over loading is not the problem. My sister bought the same phone through her service provider and it's reacting the same way. I think it has a bug, Some features take turns to fail. (ie: text notifications, camera, video) This phone is crap!
Summary: We purchased this early Jan 2014. We had a lot of trouble getting it working. First of all the SIM card from the previous Atrix did not work in it. This has a small SIM card. They cut the SIM card with a special tool at phone company. So, you cannot go back the previous phone easily. We had a lot of trouble since we found out that the phone does not work after the SIM card was cut. It was a nightmare. We could not go back to previous phone.
Junk. Terrible screen, badly crippled OS, and slow.
6 December 2013
Summary: The screen is the worst problem, it's like there was no function testing of the screen at all before the phone was put into production. Sensitivity of the screen is way off, the slightest touch registers as a click, thus scrolling is nearly impossible, every time you touch the screen to scroll it clicks on whatever is there. I've read some complaints where people have had the phone click with their finger simply near the screen surface.
Pros: The phone is pretty durable. The phone can be flexed and bent, without the screen shattering. In an Otterbox the phone can survive quite a throw. I've learned this due to the incredible amount of frustration I've had with this phone.
Cons: Everything else. Screen is incredibly over sensitive, except near the edges where it's not sensitive at all. Battery lasts a day at idle, half that with moderate use. Phone often becomes slow and unresponsive, and needs to be restarted frequently.
Summary: Despite, decent hardware and a relatively updated OS, this is a very slow, and clunky phone. The form factor feels like a 5 inch screen not a 4.5 one. The sim and microsd card slot cover is kind of flimsy and loose and just doesn't seat well so it protrudes slightly. The phone just doesn't scream high quality build. For the price, however, its not half bad as a spare emergency phone, as was the case for me while I waited for my Nexus 5 to arrive.
Summary: this phone has "good" specs but don't be fooled. specs are not everything. i had this phone for about 7-8 months and it was pretty bad. it claims it has a 1.5 ghz processor but this phone was very very slow. apps crashed all the time. probably because it only had 1 GB of ram. sd card slot was unreliable. it had trouble reading the card much of the time and i would have to take it out and insert again sometimes 10 times to get it to work.
Summary: Let me start by saying the seller was terrific. The phone had a dead spot in the screen, unknown to the seller. I was able to return it and they were very apologetic. Also the battery life was terrible. Phone would hardly last a day and I wasn't even doing that much on it.
Summary: Although this phone has potential, it seems like there are some background processes that are running that causes this phone to be super slow and unresponsive. There are a lot of things this phone can do, but theres also a lot it cannot do. Too many cons to appreciate this phone, and I would recommend not buying this phone, look at the samsung galaxy s3 or htc one instead, which is what I should have done instead of getting this phone.
Pros: Smart Actions allow you to tell the phone to do certain things, like shut off GPS, dim screen, etc at certain times or at certain locations, Drive Mode is pretty cool, it can read text messages for you when driving
Cons: Horrible battery life, even when idle, Slow or even no response to programs, email app would not even open most of the time, Laggy connection to bluetooth speaker. Music played to bluetooth speaker would stop at times for no apparent reason.
