that's something really disappointed and annoying
3 November 2014
Summary: This cellphone came with a non-original battery and came locked; that's something really disappointed and annoying. Just buy this cellphone if you are willing to invest in it once you have it. If you don't, look for another offer.
Summary: Now that the phone is only $29.99, it's a fairly good deal. It can take calls, send and receive texts and e-mails, take photos, play music downloaded unto it, and do very basic web browsing. It CANNOT play videos or music you find online. Over the past month, it's played youtube videos successfully about 3% of the time. A lot of the apps, particularly the Maps app for looking up directions, simply don't work. As a matter of fact, the phone bugs out a lot.
Really not impressed. Motorola could have done better.

Summary: I received the Atrix 2 as a replacement phone for my Atrix 4G because the screen broke (it was dropped hard). So far my impressions of this phone are overall negative. While the Atrix 2 has some nice new features added to it from the Atrix 4G, many of the features which I really liked about my old Atrix are missing, namely the beloved finger scanner which worked beautifully and was ergonomically placed.
Pros: Slight improvements to the functionality of the OS, Hard button camera launch/shutter, Higher resolution camera/video recorder, Battery cover is more naturally removed/attached.
Cons: NO LONGER HAS THE FINGER SCANNER TO UNLOCK!!!, Less internal memory, awkward layout, overall larger, and smaller battery than the previous Atrix., Some useful functionality of the previous Atrix has been taken away
Excerpt: I previously owned the Atrix 4G. It had all of the quirky features you expect in an Android phone. It had an HDMI port, a fingerprint scanner, a snappy processor, etc. I was excited for the release of the Atrix 2. It was supposed to have all of the goodies from the original with a few improvements. However, the fingerprint scanner was removed. The HDMI port still was available, but I had to buy my own cable to use it.
Summary: I have the first Atrix, and I wanted to get this phone since I read it that it was coming out. I still did until I saw the specs compared to the first one. Similar since it is the same but seriously for memory wise I would settle for Atrix 1 than 2, even tho I have I think 8gb (i think) memory card would give me a total of 24gb memory.
Might be a good phone if AT&T would honor the warranty!

Summary: There isn't a scratch on this phone. It's never been dropped, in a dusty environment, or wet. Yet there is now dust under the glass that's getting worse by the week, and AT&T will do nothing about it. It appears to be getting in through the HDMI port as it's more concentrated in that corner of the screen. Motorola claims this isn't a "known issue" so they won't cover it. AT&T and Motorola insist this is considered "physical damage." No, it's a manufacturer's defect!
Pros: Bright, clear display. Good call reception. Looks good. Feels really good in your hand. The "rubberish" back is especially nice.
Cons: Camera difficult to focus. Shutter doesn't work half the time. Audio is intermittent. Display jumps from one screen to another w/o touching it. Touchscreen is intermittent. Frequent errors when trying to check email.
Summary: Pros Good still camera, video recording. Good looking. Full Hd playback. Loud and clear sound. Decent battery. Headphones are sexy looking with good audio clarity and ideal for running and gym, they will not fall doesn't matter you run or dance but bass response is not good. Cons Poor display, the contrast levels are insane and image looks very dark and dull with poor colors. Compare the display with IPS or amoled and you will cry.
Good phone, bad battery, bad camera, worst company...

Summary: This phone was my first purchase from flipkart.com, six months ago. At that time it cost me Rs. 21990. I bought this phone only after going through positive reviews like those here. But my personal experience is not what i would have liked. The phone offers quite good features in the price range, but the battery backup is awful. The camera is also not good in spite of being 8MP. Motorola has recently closed its operations in India, so prompt servicing is not guaranteed.
Summary: Its got a lotta features. After using it for 6 months I realised its got a serious network problem. It drops frequently. You can google this. Second serious thing to note is the lack of service centers.I had to drive for 18 kms to deposit the phone for service in Bangalore. They'll further send it to Chennai. So service takes a long time.Something like 2 weeks. Don't upgrade to ICS yourself. It totally complicated issues for me.
