Summary: Phone had problems right from the start, from texts not going through or taking up to 10 minutes to go through, to the phone freezing all the time when you try to make a call or use an app, the phone would shut down and reboot by itself, only got as a secondary phone as my main was out for refurbishing and that was a Motorola too. My other issues with the phone that I won't get into.
Summary: Bought this case at my local AT&T store in December, and by March, the silicone is separating from the plastic shell. Now, in May, I'm needing to buy a new case. I am not a super rugged, outdoors person. My phone lives on my desk most of the day. I think I will try an Otterbox this time.
Summary: I have not had any problems with any cell phones since I first bought them 20 years ago. Not one. The Motorola Atrix, however, is just a bad phone. This phone constantly loses its connectivity. I have missed so many calls. I have had to power down each time. I thought it was just my phone and it's a lemon. In asking people with the same phone, it's a constant problem and they hate this phone as much as I do and have the same connectivity problems.
Summary: This phone has been nothing but trouble. The first one would go blank and I would have to remove the battery to get it to boot. The second phone (after several trips to the warranty store)fails to ring on occasion. ATT is offering very limited help.
Summary: I purchased this phone March 7, 2012 as my first Android. It is loaded with features, even has an FM tuner. Here is the bad part, the phone has an issue that causes it to reboot at random or simply freeze up. My phone rebooted at first in the middle of a call. Some users have reported the phone rebooting and then looping from start up to shut down over and over. I personally didn't have it loop continuously but it would reboot several times in a row.
Excerpt: BEWARE! There is really NO WARRANTY on this phone: The Motorola warranty does not cover "physical damage" and Motorola defines even scratches on the phone as "physical damage" and as "evidence" of "trauma." (!) They then use this "physical damage" as an excuse to void the warranty and NOT to repair the real problem, which is that the WiFi suddenly stops working after a few months. (Just Google "Atrix WiFi will not turn on.
Summary: I used an upgrade and purchased this phone which had the advantage over my iPhone of the ability to increase storage, change battery, wasn't tethered to iTunes to purchase, would be unlocked by ATT in 6 months so I could change the SIM card when out of the country. Unfortunately it just didn't work as a phone.
Summary: I have owned this phone for several months, but 3 days after the 30 return policy ran out it has been a total nightmare. It freezes up, will not let you disconnect from a placed phone call, voicemail completely was gone, you never know what page it may decide to go to and eats the battery up. Took it back and of course all the lame excuses started.
