  • Excerpt: The Trium Geo is considered by many to be an old phone. It is large and has an aerial which can be extended during use.It has limited ringtones, and does not have interchangeable facias......but it is a phone! This is not a toy. It is functional. The buttons are a convient size...

  • Excerpt: All my friends and family were getting fed up of being diverted straight to my BT answer phone when calling my house. This is due to me being on the Internet all day everyday. I think the time had come for me to get myself a mobile. I wanted something cheap and I most certainly wanted pay as you go.

  • Excerpt: I guess that the world does have a sense of poetic justice after all. Just a couple of weeks after my glowing op on my old motorola phone, which I described as being really robust, despite taking a sub-aquaitc trip in the sink, the bloody thing decides to just give up the ghost whilst sitting in my...
  • Pros: Easy to use, better than any of my old phones !  pleasing to the eye, good reception and battery life .
  • Cons: Not the prettiest, funkiest or sexiest mobile around .

  • Excerpt: I have a trium geo wap - I quite like it and the specs seem fine to me. The only thing that I don't like is that BT Cellnet seem to have changed a few things in comparrison to the user guide from Mitsubishi (example removed the games).

  • Excerpt: ...coz I've been carrying a brick around for months. This is honestly one of the worst phones I've had the misfortune to use. Frankly, it's ugly, it looks like something your baby daughter just made with lego, it has an ugly arial which pops out like a big floppy pointy stick, and the flip down...

  • Excerpt: Buying your first WAP mobile? Then I suggest you put this on your " try before you buy" list. As WAP mobiles go, this is a nifty little number which gives access to a wide range of internet services on the BT Cellnet network (via GENIE).
  • Pros: WAP access good, E - mail alerts via Genie, vibrate alert
  • Cons: too heavy/bulky, poor signal strength, can't download ringtones

  • Excerpt: Well, I had this phone for a while and I thought that it was absolute rubbish. Afterreading everybody elses opinions....they all seem to think that it is great and worth buying.....although it only cost me £30, it was a waste of perfectly good money.
  • Cons: "expensive tariff"

Phone Home, How

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone 6 months ago mainly because I wanted internet access. It was a replacement for a Philips phone which had served me well for quite a long time. I was attracted by the price of £29.99 and the BT pay as you go scheme.
  • Pros: Cheap
  • Cons: Cannot buy accessories .  Totally useless
