Excerpt: This is a basic phone that is now pretty much extinct in 2007. We bought it as an emergency phone as most people's first mobile phone purchase is. It was big and clunky with no games. I got my jollies when bored by taking the cover on and off. However one day after about3 years it finally died and we got a new phone. So the only place you'll get one of these is on ebay. They have been off the market for some time and I can't imagine them re-releasing it.
Excerpt: this is basically a good phone with easy to undestand menu system, although a little chunky lacks the features of more modern phones but how many of these are just to turn the phone into a fashion item and not really needed as the function of a mobile is to make and recieve calls, with the added advantage of text messaging,as they say you pays yer money i would personally recommend it as a budget alternative to the look a like nokias a phone which you are unlikely to have...
Excerpt: I got my mobile phone for £39.99 at Choices Video rentals. It was only after weeks of moning that I got it. I have had it now for a little over 11 months now and It is rubbish. It goes off without warning and it is genuinly rubbish. The phone has >>>12 ringtones >>>Room for 200 names and numbers >>>Good reception >>>Rubbish battery >>>Good options for a cheap phone As this is my first opinion I do not know really how to write it but I hope this has given you a little bit...
Excerpt: I bought this mobile phone in July last year. It was my first mobile and one I intended to keep for a while. I bought it to do the job, I was on a limited budget and wanted to simply be able to send and receive sms and calls. The package with a Vodafone all calls SIM card cost me £40 at the time but I'm not too sure how much it is now. On many platforms this mobile can be praised. It does everything it sets out to do.
Excerpt: A decent phone, good value for your money. It is useful for people who just need a mobile phone for basic use because it doesn't have any outstanding or unique features. But the good part about this phone is it's simplicity as in, it's very simple to operate. This phone would have been better if it was WAP enabled and if it had features like calculator, changable LED display etc... The looks r killing and the phone is also pretty light in weight.
Pros: Easy to use, Cheap and easily affordable .
Cons: Talk time is not that great, Ring tones are horrible, Additional ring tones cannot be recorded or downloaded .
Excerpt: I bought this phone (on Vodafone Pay as You Talk) because it was cheap (£40 including £10 credit) and looked cute! It might be a bit big in comparison to, say, an Ericsson T10. But it's really cute and funky! The noises it makes are really funny, it's got some great kitsch ring tones (and some just plain tacky ones like 4 seasons). But I love it!!! It might not have a WAP feature, but lets face it, that's just a pretend version of the internet!!
Excerpt: I have been using this phone handset for nearly a year now and have to say it stands upto a lot of punishment. Although it does not some of features that general users of mobiles like to have such as a ringtone composer ad other toys I find that this phone does its main job which is to communicate marvellously well but then again I am with Vodaphone which has very good area coverage.
Pros: Strong case and has a good weight
Cons: A little dated and no real customisation for those who require it
Excerpt: The main requirement of a mobile phone is to provide people with a completely portable version of exactly what we have connected to a landline. However, they've gone far beyond this now – special ringtones, access to the Internet, text messaging – the list grows by the day. But what happens when a phone gets it all wrong? The Trium Astral – that's what. I was given this phone as a 'courtesy phone' while my normal Nokia 3210e was fixed. So what's wrong with the Astral?
Pros: Looks OK, performs basic functions
Cons: Endless list of missing or incomplete features
Excerpt: With the fast growing technological world of today, I felt that it was time to upgrade my analog mobile phone to that of digital. I wanted a small, sexy and stylish phone that had all the latest features such as sms messaging. So I hit gold when I found myself buying the Trium Astral which was assigned to the Vodafone tariff Allcalls. I immediately found its appearance very attractive - it is lightweight and slimline and also has interchangable facias.
Excerpt: My parents bought me this mobile about 8 months ago. When I received it, I was a little dis-heartened - it was a phone I had never seen before. The truth is, this phone is fabulous. It has all the useful features, without the annoying games and predictive texts. The features This phone can hold 100 names/numbers in the address book, and can ring them when their name comes up.
