Summary: NO frills! In fact, my Kin might have been defective or glichy, although it came from ebay in the box. It is a windows prototype phone. It would not view you tube or DL ANY apps, that's right: zero apps. However, it has 8 megapixel camera and video too! It even does email with free wi fi (where avail)! what more could you ask for? FM radio? and it's NOt an app! It was such a great little device toy until it ended up submerged in water...... aw.....
Inexpensive but not durable. Meets my needs better than same price LG

Summary: this is my third Kin two, I get about a year out of one of these and then they have a complete breakdown. I'm used to the operating procedures of this model and it is worth about $30 each year to replace when it stops working. Does not require paying monthly data charges that I won't use.
Summary: I LOVE THE KIN TWO. I HAD ONE BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS ONE. IT WAS THE ONLY REASON I PURCHASED THIS ONE. I COULDN'T USE THE OLD ONE ANYMORE BECAUSE IT TURNS OFF AS SOON AS IT COMES ON AND WILL NOT FULLY CHARGE. UNFORTUNATELY THE NEW ONE WON'T BE USED EITHER. I WILL NOT SAY ANYTHING INFLAMMATORY. I WILL JUST REPORT THE STATE OF THIS PHONE AS IT APPEARED TO ME. THE PAINT ON ONE KEY WAS MISSING.
Summary: Our 14 year old has this phone. It has WIFI but does not require a data package. It's REALLY hard to find a phone that does that. She loves this phone. Great camera. I like the slide out keyboard. Easy to use. Could not get contacts to bluetooth over from her old phone so we had to enter them manually - thus the 4 star rating on features. This is her 2nd one, she broke the first by accident (it slid out the car window leaving softball practice and hit asphalt).
Summary: The sharp kin two is a good cell phone it was a reasonable product. I like it because it is a step up from a " regular" flip phone. What I dislike about it is I've had this phone previously before I bought it again due to water damages and now in order to connect to it you have to have data. But when I had the kin 2 before it was never an issue to use Ito connect to kin or use the wifi browser now I can't.
Summary: The Kin2 has some opportunities. Since it is no longer supported by Microsoft there are no apps and the conversation tracking for text messages is a little strange. Things built in to even the cheapest phones are missing, like a calculator and a calender. While it is cool to be able to use the internet via wifi instead of paying through the nose for data I would not have paid more than what I did for it and I am looking forward to my contract being up so I can dump my...
