Summary: My son started having problems with it the first day he used it. He has gone through two others of this model and they continue to break easily. We were just looking for a phone that is easy to text on and does not require a smart phone contract.
Summary: Good phone for those who wish to "dip their toes" into the smartphone pond. A little difficult to manuever around the settings for setting up internet access and mms, a little help from my provider had everything working fine. Have tried it with H2O, didn't work to well on mms, but was great for emails. Had better luck with Red Pocket. First phone I've had that can take videos. All in all it's a decent phone. Small and easily portable.
Summary: Excellent basic smart phone. If you are into the name brand, "next best thing", this is not for you. The touch can lag slightly, it doesn't do well with downloadable apps, you need a micro sd card to use the music feature, it could be organized better and more customizable etc. However, it texts quickly with the keyboard, it is solid, it has been helpful for writing (I'm a poet and don't always have paper around) , it has excellent sound for phone calls, it has useful...
Summary: This has been my go to phone for years. Whenever it finally dies, I just order another one. And when my husband destroyed his super-fancy-less-than-a-year-old-phone, I decided I would order him this trusty steed. Now I just have to get him a different color so he stops putting my phone in his pocket.
Summary: I started having an issue w/ the calendar, I would select it and the screen would go white. After that it would go wht., blk., blk w/ Lg logo for about 2 minutes then back to the display. About a week after this the phone stopped working all together. I only had it about a year.

OK for texting, but phone call quality is poor, has other issues ....

Summary: I didn't want a full smartphone and data plan. So instead, I got this device. I wanted it to do just two things: phone calls and text messages. Its phone call quality is surprisingly poor - my twelve-year old Nokia is much better. The texting works well. The touch screen is overly touchy. The slide-out keyboard works fine. Addendum - August 9, 2014: After using this phone for a while I've become quite fed up with its far too touchy touch screen.
Summary: Nice phone. Positive key actions on the slide out key board. Not too sensitive on the touch screen. Navigating through the menus, settings and tools is not exactly intuitive, but workable. Battery life reasonable. Delivery was quite fast. Arrived in generic packing, so not too convinced it's a 'new' phone. Contrary to product description, phone was not unlocked - it was still linked to AT&T.
