Verizon wireless LG cell phones are the best phone for the money
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I had a Verizon Wireless cell phone for 2 years. I basically wore it out. When it came time to get a new phone I went back to Verizon Wireless. They no longer had the model of phone that I had. They update them so often. I looked thru the phones. The LG phones did not appeal to me right away. I wanted to try something different. I was looking at the Blackberry, but I have heard several people say they were not happy with their Blackberry for one reason or another.
Excerpt: While nothing fancy, the LG Wine is a more than adequate phone with several fun unexpected features. The first thing that drew my attention was the beautiful purple "Wine" color of the phone. Another nice physical attribute of the phone is the large buttons. The buttons are big enough that they resemble those on a jitterbug (the phone for eldery people that have trouble seeing the buttons). Upon seeing this phone, my mom traded in her phone for one like this.
Excerpt: This phone might be sleek, new, and look kind of cool, but it is still an average phone to me, because it is a flip phone with no keyboard which makes it hard to text. But what gives it the three stars is the fact that it has a video camera, a radio, pacman (only if you have it, I suppose), My Menu (in Tools), and a micro SD card slot (unlike many phones).
Excerpt: I have had this phone for over 6 months and havnt had any problems with it yet. I purchased it for 40 dollars, but you can probably find it alot cheaper now. i decided to go with a flip phone because they are more durable than other slide phones. although most flip phones are hard to text on this one is the exception. its keys are very large and the t9 word is great. i text over 5000 texts a month and have gotten very quick on the keys. very nice for large hands.
Excerpt: I was awaiting the day when an "eye friendly" phone like this one came out. Alot of older people would come up to me looking for a cell phone, but most of the time they couldn't see the buttons or the scrren.
Excerpt: Having had the Hero and a Blackberry phone, I can tell you that I'm so happy to be back with just a regular phone. You can have all those fancy gadget phones. I just want to be able to send a text without it taking me 5 minutes! The buttons are easy to see and it's easy to use...I don't have to guess where things are and I'm done in a flash.
And it's not an "Old Lady" phone as one of the commentaries said and it should be killed.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for 2 weeks now. Overall a really good phone for someone that only wishes to make calls and text. Nice looking phone and great size. Nice camera also. It also has a nice screen image quality. Doesn't hold onto fingerprints either. Again if you are looking for just a basic phone and one that wont brew coffee for you like the "smart phones" then this is it. Buttons are of nice size also.
Excerpt: I am 21 years old and really really like this phone so far. I have had it less than 24 hrs but really like it.
great for texting
shortcut keys are great
nice camera for a 1.3 mp
The only thing I really don't like about this phone is that that battery doesn't last that long and you can't tell when the phone is fully charged.
Excerpt: We were pretty satisfied with our RAZR and KRZR (except for the battery life) so we wanted to take advantage of the "free offer" on Thanksgiving. We took the recommendation of one of the representatives and got two LG Wines.
- look great, stylish, great color and feel
- big buttons
- sharp screen
- very intuitive menu compared to motorola
- great battery life
- not so good reception (the signal would fluctuate - go from 3 to 0 in walking two feet)
- we were...
