Excerpt: I got the LG VX-5400 two years ago, as a free phone with a new Verizon plan. I loved it. It was exactly what I wanted: a basic phone. Over the last two years, as my primary phone, it worked well, all the features were easy to use, the camera was halfway decent, I could text easily enough, and best of all, my toddlers didn't destroy it!
Excerpt: After two Motorola's and a Samsung, I thought I knew what I wanted. However, I was talked into buying the LG-5600; All I can say is "THANK YOU"!!!. I wanted a basic phone, without a lot of bells and whistles; To me a phone is for making and receiving calls...period. This phone is wonderful for that. The audio is good (but not great), but its an easy phone to use. Its lighweight and, best of all, has an amazing battery life.
Excerpt: I hated my last phone from Samsung. It never worked right, half the time I could not even talk on it. It was never fully utilized. This new LG came with our cell phone contract and I had to do some convincing with my father to get this in our family plan. It does not have instructions which is the negative and the sound to hear the voice volume is not loud, but it is very good otherwise. Actually, you have to press the button on the left side which has the symbol of...
Excerpt: I upgraded my cell phone in the past month and got the free LG. I've never used LG cell phones before. I usually am a Nokia or Motorolla kinda guy. But It looked sharp and the price was sure right. Most of the other fancier looking phones require you to have a multimedia bundle within the plan. I figure its a way for them to recoup their money for giving away a nearly free cell phone. Anyway, I picked the LG and got it a few days later in the mail.
Summary: It was a Tuesday. The well had almost run dry and Ma had just finished the last bottle of homemade Tabasco. The private bottling of tobasco is of course illegal, but never the less she continued. She realized she needed one more pepper seed to complete the fraudulent comtcoction and grabbed her new LG Accoloade to make the call. She would later right me a letter to describe the call experience.
Summary: I was replacing my VX5600 with another one since mine went through the washing machine. After it dried out it worked fine except it would not make calls. The contacts, photos, ringtones, calendar, and everything worked great, but it wouldn't connect. The only thing I missed on this phone was not having a video camera. But sound is clear, great battery life, great overall little phone.
Summary: I love this phone! I had the same model a while ago, but it broke and when I went to replace it, it was discontinued. I ended up getting a different replacement phone and compared to this one, I hated it. I kept the replacement for a year until I just had to have this phone again! Now that I'm using the LG VX9400 again it's so much easier to talk on the phone without pushing buttons accidentally and to text without accidentally canceling the message.
Summary: I bought this pre-paid phone for my Dad for Xmas. He is currently an AT&T customer but all his friends are on Verizon and he had mentioned he'd like to try that network. So, after talking to my Dad since he has received the phone he really likes it a great deal. it holds the charge a really long time. He told me it was a full charge on Monday and it's now Thursday and it just died on him. FOUR WHOLE DAYS!! And yes he does talk on it a great deal.
